The Bridge

Promises broken

Truths turned to lies

Hearts now broken

And now tears in my eyes

Making mistakes over and over

Cuz you'd do whatever for the one that you love

No matter the challenge or even the problem

for the one you love it shall surely be solved

But now they have left you with nothing

You're all shattered

and all broken

All the lies you put up with

all the broken promises you denied

All the hatred in your heart

All the sadness in your soul

All the pain you've put with

you're just tired of the lies

So to get rid of it all

you give away your very soul

To the night up on that bridge

from where you jumped to freedom from your pain

And where a smile lit your face

just like a rainbow after rain
