I step closer to his bed, and he flinches when I place my hand on his shoulder. "Lou..."
"Can you please just let me sleep?"
I make my way to my own bed and and lay down unwillingly. I want to respect his boundaries, but there's no way I can accept how badly my heart hurts for him. "Come here."
"What?"
I move over to make room for him and pat the the empty side of the bed next to me. "Come."
"Why?"
"Because I'm tired as fuck, and I can't sleep until you do."

When he arrived at UCLA, all Louis wanted was to pass his courses with flying colours, apply to and get accepted into Harvard, and maybe make a few friends along the way. What he never expected was for his past to start catching up to him and for his roommate to be mysterious, unpredictable, and undeniably attractive.
