Yeah.... No.... I actually think their is way more to him then the show leads on in fact, I'm about to make the bold claim that Richard is the real power behind the thorn! Not Unikitty Ok this sounds just as nuts as my Master Doom is actually the ruler of Frown Town idea but theirs actually small hints of this in the show, Richard mentions that he's the one doing all the paperwork and has even been seen doing taxes one episode (Special Delivery, I think?) Which means he's responsible for their finances and that includes money for the kingdom, but not only that when Princes and Princess are too young to rule or don't know how, they have a Regent and that seems to be what Richard is doing when he's not being dragged into some insane adventure.... so I guess you could argue that Rick is an acting King or King Regent, at least until the princess gets her act together.
Oh and not to mention the name Richard literally means king

Well technically it's a name that means powerful/brave ruler but that's basically the same thing :P
Anyway I do find it weird that The creators changed his name to something so different, evidently he was originally called Brick (but I'm not sure if that's accurate so don't quote me on that)
But I Bring this up Because Richard actually has a storyline with Unikitty's mom.... yeah they kneweach other *wink* :)
