Part 4

～Frank's point～

I sat in the living room watching a movie with Hazel, enjoying every bit of our brake. Nico walked in the door.

"Nico! Frank could you pause it for a moment?" Hazel asked

"Sure" I said as I picked up the remote and paused the movie.

Hazel ran over and threw her arms around Nico in a hug.

"Hi to you to" Nico said with a small chuckle.

"I never really get to see you anymore" Hazel said

"I understand. Your busy doing you job with Frank" Nico said before looking over her shoulder at me and giving me a warning death glare that said I'm still not afraid to kill you if you hurt her.
I took a hard gulp of fear then looked away.

"I'm going to make myself some lunch. Did you want anything?" Nico asked as he pulled away from the hug.

"I'm fine. I glad your taking care of yourself" Hazel said

"I couldn't not even if I want to. Will somehow seems to always know when I haven't eaten or when I haven't slept then he'll look at me and say, you need to eat or your need to sleep foctor's orders. His such a pain, but gods I lov-" Nico froze for a moment before cleaning his throat and continuing

"His a good friend" he said now rubbing the back of his neck

"Did you want to watch the movie with us?' Hazel asked

Nico moved his hand from his neck and smirked.

"Sure, just let me make my food first' He said as he walked to the kitchen

"Sure thing" Hazel said. She then walked back over to me and sat down

"I'm glad you two live together. That way I can see both of you" she said as she snuggled next to me. I smiled and put a arm around her and closed my eyes. I was just about to kiss her forehead when Nico cleared his throat. I opened my eyes and saw him standing  in front of us with a sandwich on a plate.

"Ready?" Hazel asked as she sat upright.

"Yeah, mind if I sit next to you?" Nico asked and Hazel scooted away from me and patted the spot she had been sitting. As Nico sat down he glanced at me and smirked. Guess there goes my alone time with my girlfriend. We sat and watched the movie until I heard something outside.

"What was that?" I asked pausing the movie.

"The wind" Nico said with such a serious face I don't argue and I hit play on the movie. A few more minutes went by and I thought I heard something again but I choice to ignore it this time. Another few minutes went by and I heard it again. It sounded like someone scraping their nails down a wall.

"Are you sure that's the wind?" I asked pausing the movie again.

"Stop it!" Nico snapped

"Nico?" Hazel said. They looked at each other and seemed to have a silent conversation before Hazel spoke.

"Nico's right, it had been pretty windy lately. We should finish the movie" She said. I reluctantly hit the play button and we continue watching. We got close to the end of the movie when I saw a dark figure run past the living room window. I quickly looked at Hazel and Nico to see if they had seen it but it didn't seem like they had so I tried to push it from my mind and go back to the movie then there were 3 soft knocks at the door. I went to stand up but Nico put his arm out to stop me.

"Leave it" he said and I slowly lend back onto the couch.

It didn't take long for the person to knock again but it was quicker this time  I stayed on the couch but then the person banged on the door

"Please" I heard a man whisper and I shot up

"Frank! Do not open that door!" Nico yelled.

"They sound like they need help, they could be hurt" I said

"Frank please" Hazel said then the door handle jiggled and they banged on the door again. I ran to the door.

"That's not a invention! Stay out!" Nico yelled as I opened the door I saw a tall dark figure before I faded into darkness  then I was in the middle of town with Hazel and Nico

"Nico!" Hazel yelled as he fell towards  the ground. I was lucky enough to catch the back of his shirt before he hit the ground.

"We need to find Will" Hazel said

"He's probably at work" I said

"We need to go there. Can you carry him?" Hazel said and I picked him and we walked over to New Romes Hospital. As we walked in I saw Will walking down a hall away from us holding a clipboard.

"Will!" Hazel yelled and he immediately looked back. He looked from Hazel to me then he looked down at Nico in my arms and ran dropping his clipboard.

"What happened?!" He yelled

"We were at the house and-" I said to say but Hazel cut me off.

"We had just finished watching a movie and Nico was walking us out when someone knocked a pot from their window. It would have hit one of us but Nico shadow travelled us away." She lied.

"He looks extremely pale, did he do anything else?" Will asked

"No. Maybe it's because he travelled with two bbn people" Hazel said
Will looked over at a woman at the deck

"Could you have someone else go check on the patient in room 203? I have a emergency I need to tend to" He said

"Sure, I'll just call Jake up" the woman said

"Thanks" Will said before turning back to us.

"This way" Will said quickly walking away

"Why did you lie to him" I whispered to Hazel

"It's best that we don't worry him about what happened" Hazel said.
