Autumn has treated me well,
despite of all my complaints.
It has touched my heart,
like no other could.
Though summer finds it hard to let go,
I can tell,
after seeing autumn in its prime,
that summer will soon realize.
Will soon let its strong grip go,
and let autumn be free for at least a month.
I will cherish autumn for the rest of my life,
I will, from this day, hold it dear to my heart.
That, I owe to autumn,
as it has lent me happiness for three whole months.
I will praise autumn,
and I will tell all,
that autumn has brought me
what summer could not.
