Chapter 2: Crash Landing

Kai's POV

The last thing I remembered was a flash of light before blacking out. As I slowly woke up, I noticed I was still in the Iron Doom but it had crash landed in a forest. I turned to see both Krux and Acronix also waking up. 'Grab him!', Krux yelled as I struggled to get up. I made a dash out of the giant contraption but I felt something grab my foot causing me to trip and fall. I turned to see Acronix holding my foot with a smile. I shot a fireball right at him, causing him to let go while trying to dodge my attack. 'You're not getting me that easily', I retorted. The two time twins jumped out the Iron Doom and grabbed the three remaining time blades. 'Can't defeat me without powers?', I said to them in a teasingly manor. 'You better be quiet before we make you regret it', Krux replied. 'Never'. We then began to battle it out, swords were swinging and powers were being used. To be honest, I was beating their asses. I jumped in the air, about to strike Krux with my sword until Acronix paused me, using one of their blades. I wanted to say that's not fair but I couldn't move my mouth. 'Well done brother', Krux said. Suddenly there was a rumble in the sky.

I couldn't look up to see what it was but it sounded like the bounty. Were my friends here to save me? But how, they don't even know I am here. I don't even know where or when I am!? In front of me I saw 5 colourful people land, facing towards Krux and Acronix. They were definitely ninja but something told me they weren't my friends. 'Who are you!?', the green one said. They definitely weren't my friends. 'Allow me to introduce myself. I am Krux and this is my twin brother Acronix'. 'Those two are twins?!', I heard the blue one whisper shout. Krux ignored that and continued. 'We are from the past and were battling a villain, the one behind you, and as we were about to push them into a time vortex, he pulled us in as well'. What kind of crap is this!? At that very moment the effects of the blade wore off and I crash landed onto the ground. 'What kind of bullshit are you two spitting?!', I yelled at them, furious with anger. 'It's the truth', Krux said, standing there proud. I snapped and ran at them, raising my sword but then a blast of green energy hit me, sending me flying. I immediately got up and yelled 'You seriously believe those two!? They're the villains! They're the time twins!' 'Which gives you guys more of a reason to believe us as we are elemental masters' Acronix added. 'What kind of logic is that?!' 'Well right now you look like the villain', the black ninja yelled at me. 'GET HIM!'

I did my absolute best at fending off the time twins and five ninja but it was no use. I got frozen up to my head immediately by the white one, not even giving me a chance to use my fire powers. I was about to melt myself out of the ice when I got paused by the time blade again. You got to be kidding me. 'I don't think ice is the best way to contain this one' Acronix said. The white ninja unfroze my body by making the ice melt but I was still paused by the blade. 'I think we should take him to Sensei Wu', the light blue one said. Yes! Please take me to Wu! Then they will realise that the time twins are the villains and not me. Wait Wu is still teaching? Thought it would have been Lloyd or someone. 'You should get some vengestone cuffs for him, he can be very sneaky', Krux said interrupting my thoughts. 'Uh sure, lemme go grab some', said the light blue one, running off to the bounty. After 2 minutes they reappeared holding vengestone cuffs. 'There. That should keep him secure they said while putting the cuffs onto me with the effects of the time blades wearing off soon after. 'You're making a big mistake. I'm your ally, I'm an elemental master too!', I yelled. 'Yeah sure, elemental master of hot-headedness', the blue one retorted with a smirk. I was really gonna blow now. 'How bout we take a break from those smart ass comebacks', Acronix said while taking off my hood and tying it over my mouth. None of the ninja even reacted to my face which was weird. The others must have mentioned me at some point, right? I tried to speak but all that came out were muffled noises.

As we walked towards the bounty, which still looked the same as when I last saw it, the ninja took off their hoods revealing their identities. The green one looked so much like Lloyd except for the fact that his hair was styled slightly differently. The black one also looked so much like Cole except his hair was much longer. The white ninja was obviously a nindroid, I assumed Borg made him. Finally the blue and light-blue ninja took off their hoods. The boy somewhat resembled Jay but had freckles and darker brown hair whereas the girl looked so much like Nya but just with longer hair. The two looked similar so I assumed they were siblings.

We slowly boarded the bounty with me being held by the two siblings. Krux and Acronix strolled on ahead, probably wanting to sneak attack Wu or something. I was taken inside the bounty, walking through the very similar corridors towards Wu's quarters/meditation room. 'Hello Wu', the twins said in unison bursting through his door. 'What? How did you get here?!', Wu said, fear in his tone. I hadn't been brought into the room yet but the ninja all had confused looks on their faces. 'We were welcomed in', Acronix casually replied. 'Wait Wu, I thought they were your friends?', the green ninja asked with concern. 'They are quite the opposite I'm afraid'. 'Wait then what about the person they were fighting? They said they were an enemy but does that make them good?', the blue one said a little bit too fast. 'Who were they fighting', Wu sternly asked. 'I don't know, some red dude. We have him here', the black one said pulling me into the room. I tried to yell get these stupid cuffs off me but muffles only came out. 'K- Kai?', Wu said in a shaky tone. 

'WAIT YOU KNOW HIM?!", the water ninja asked. 'Let him go, NOW!', Wu commanded. The ninja took out the key to unlock my cuffs but then Krux snatched it. 'HEY!', the lightning ninja yelled. 'I'll be taking that' Krux replied with a smirk. 'GET HIM!' All the ninja launched at the twins, attempting to grab the key off of them while Wu rushed over to me. 'Kai? Is it really you?', Wu questioned while taking my hood out of my mouth. 'Yes it is... NOW CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE OFF THESE CUFFS!', I yelled in frustration. 'Well Kai as you can see...', Wu said pointing over to the ninja still trying to get the key back. 'Well can't you cut them off or something? There are like a million and one blades in the bounty!?' I yelled, wanting to go help with the fight against the twins. Before Wu had the chance to reply I heard someone yell 'GOT IT!' The ice ninja ran over and took off my cuffs for me. 'About time' I said while joining in the fight. Krux and Acronix looked at each other knowing they were outnumbered and so they retreated. 'We'll see you again ninja', Acronix said before speeding up time, teleporting out of the Bounty. 

'Ok, what the heck just happened?', the lightning ninja said with confusion. 'Those were the time twins, an example of elemental masters turned dark', Wu replied. 'I have a better question, who is that?', the water ninja said pointing to me. 'Can't you see? I'm the elemental master of fire, the best elemental master there is' I replied in a cocky tone while lighting my hand on fire. Before anyone got to say anything about my remark, Wu interrupted 'His name is Kai and yes he is the elemental master of fire'. 'Wait, I thought my grandad was the elemental master of fire', the water ninja replied. Suddenly it hit me, these ninja don't know who I am at all. The others never told them about me. I had so many questions running through my head. 'How about we all sit down and I'll explain the full story' Wu said and with that we all headed to the lounge.
