The electronic key lock buzzed open, allowing me to enter the hotel room. I huffed in both annoyance and relief. I had to nearly leave the city just to find a hotel room that didn't cost me an arm and a leg. It also wasn't easy to haul a heavy plump monster girl around like Citrine, refusing to release me from her coiled body resulting in me lugging her around all over the place. That gym idea is sounding better every day.
The hotel was a simple white three story building surrounded by a light forest near the outskirts of the Bronx. And at the hotel, as I was paying for the room, I received several stares directed at me. Some in disgust while some smiling giving me the thumbs up.
As it became late twilight the view from the third floor was a nice consolation as I can just see the city over the canopy. Its gleaming white and yellow lights looked like stars under the darkening violet sky, the last of the sun's rays slowly fading over the city tops.
Lugging Citrine into the room I collapsed onto the nearby bed, it creaking with the weight of both of us on top of it. And of course just as I laid down on the bed Citrine uncoiled from my body and began to explore the room.
The hotel room was a simple light tan room, two queen sized beds, a cabinet with a flat screen TV, and a small kitchen all in one room. The only other room was the bathroom at the back. Everything was surprisingly nicely cleaned and stocked with extra blankets. It wasn't much, but it was enough for the night.
"Well, here we are," I huffed, rubbing my eyes from the growing tiredness.
Citrine just slithered into the bathroom before slithering out just as soon without making a sound.
"What do you want for dinner," I groaned as I turned to my side trying to find a menu near the telephone on the nightstand between the two beds.
Citrine just slithered around my bed before going under it.
"Um, I guess pizza would be good," I said confusedly as I watched her crawl under my bed to the other bed before popping out from the opposite side and plopping her torso onto the top of her bed, staring intensely at me.
I maintained eye contact with her as I reached for the phone and called the local pizza place.

For the half-hour wait for the pizza Citrine had remained completely still. The only thing she moved was her eyes as they followed me around the room, never breaking contact unless I was behind her, and even then I could feel her eyes on me. It was kinda unnerving as most of the day she clung to me like she was a living fursuit, her long soft body oscillating around my body to now being as still as a stone, unmoving and still. I couldn't even tell if she was still breathing. It wasn't until the doorbell ranged that I tore away from Citrine's petrified form.
Opening the door a young man in a red shirt stood outside with a large pizza box. I took out my money and gave it to him. As he left, the box in my hands, I noticed something from the trees in front of me. As the full moon rose above the canopy the silhouette of a large ragged woman standing on top of a large tree branch. My blood froze as I noticed a long bushy tail swung back and forth as her eyes glowed yellow from the dim light of night.
Moving as still as possible I slowly backed myself into the hotel, maintaining eye contact on the werewolf in front of me. With a creak of the door I closed the door. I then put in the chain lock, turned the deadbolt, and locked the doorknob.
"Master, you've been gone all day, we were worried sick," came a monotone female voice from behind me.
My heart stopped, slowly turned around to face my speaker.
By the bathroom under a flickering light stood Minnie, a dark and gloomy aura surrounding her body consuming all hope and joy from the world. Her disheveled black hair and her tight black clothes paired with her black eyeshadow running down from her black eyes gave her an aura of darkness that engulfed the entire hallway.
