Time seemed to flew pass, and it's already been a week since Auntie Amelie and Felix stayed here in our household. I was quite sad because they'll be departing soon but they promised that they'll return for a vacation.

"Don't be sad my dear..." Aunt Amelie comforted me as my tears began to flow and I, hugging her tightly with a hope that she wouldn't leave.

I admit that I've became attached to her despite of a short span of time. She reminded me of someone that I wished to have in my previous life, but only have someone who ruins and degrades your reputation. Unlike her, Aunt Amelie is a nice one. We spend a lot of time together. Enjoying different food and drinks, dress ups, playtime, and all...

We immediately bid our goodbyes to them as Gorilla drove the car towards the train station. We didn't even have the subtle time to see them getting in there...

"Everything will be okay..." Mother assured me after seeing me becoming blue about Aunt Amelie's and Fellix's departure. "We can still see them someday. That's what I can assure with you..."

I smiled with that thought before Mother lead me and Adrien towards the dining table where dinner is served.

It was still the usual dinner but what made it more special is when Mother feed us both with her homemade croissants.

"Was it okay? I'm sorry but these couldn't be compared with the Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie..." Mother sadly told us. I was about to answer her that her baking is good until someone entered the dining area causing my twin brother to jump in glee and run towards the newcomer. I have decided during that time that I would pay no attention to that person but Adrien called that person causing me to be shocked.

"Father!" Adrien happily shouted and began to hug father's legs who in return, just patted my twin's head.

"How are you, son?" Gabriel Agreste, or I should refer as Father. "I'm good Father!" Adrien replied and continued retelling about our interaction with Aunt Amelie and Felix.

As I looked at them, I suddenly felt strange... The look that is present in Father's eyes are filled with love and care that is not evident on what I saw in the series. The way on how he lifted and held my twin brother into his arms, I could see how he wanted to protect him and his innocence.

"Avery? How are you, my daughter?" Gabriel, I mean Father said with a smile which caused me to be shocked.

"I'm g-good... I e-enjoyed my time with Aunt Amelie and Felix..." I stammered. Why did I have to do it? I mentally facepalmed myself and look at his direction. He seemed to ignore the fact about the way on how I stammered as he made his way towards me, with Adrien in his arms. Once he is near to me, he leaned down and kissed my forehead.

Due to shock, I couldn't move and Mother seemed to notice that. "Avery, are you okay? You seemed feeling unwell," she concernly asks as she went to my side to look into my eyes.

"I'm okay..." I answered but I knew that Mother wouldn't take it as a suitable answer. "There is nothing to worry about Mother. I know that I'm okay. Probably I'm being like this is because of tiredness..."

"Is that so?" Gabriel asked after putting Adrien back to his seat. "Let me carry you to your room so that you could rest," he offered. I was about to reject it but Mother seemed to be pleased with Father's actions. It made me realize that I have no choice but to let him carry me as I cling onto his neck with care (and a hope that I wouldn't fall).

"I'll return after this..." Father told to Mother before placing a kiss on her cheek and even I did it too.

I hide my face on Father's neck as I let him carry me towards my room.
