I woke up and the nerves hit practically straight away, tonight is the first time people I actually know are coming to watch me, i mean seb has always wanted to. I turned him down I just didn't want to make a fool of myself luckily Lizzie already listens to my music so I don't have to worry about her reaction. I decided to practice a few times before getting ready since seb and I decided to go earlier to help set up. Once I got ready I met him in the front room and ordered an Uber to the bar.

Once we finally got everything set up I checked the time and it was 6:45pm I made sure my table was still reserved and took a seat next to seb as we waited for the rest of the group to come. About 10 minutes later I looked up to see Tom smiling brightly at me as the olsens and Walmart Jesus followed.

I saw Tom nod his head towards him as I walked up to them. "Hey guys, I'm so glad you could make it." I saw Robbie shuffle on his feet as I spoke so I decided to introduce myself. "Hi you're Robbie right? I'm y/n it's good to finally meet you." I smiled as I held my hand out for him to shake. Once our hands touched I tightened my grip. "That's a firm handshake." He joked nervously. "I've heard a lot about you, Lizzie talks about you a lot." I couldn't help but smile. "She told me you grew up in England, you're a fan or football right? Which team do you support?" "Chelsea I went to university in England and it was the only half decent team." I joked as we walked over to our table. "'No fucking way me too, mason mount is definitely my favourite." He almost yells as I laugh. "Same here and when he played for England I swear I almost turned straight right there and then." "Oh my god have you ever had food at joeys burger shack? If you haven't they do the best food I've ever had; if you go back to England it's a must try." "Don't worry I'm one of the lucky people to have their food, I'm actually good friends with Joey he went to my university honestly he's such a nice guy." "He's my nephew." He laughs. "No fucking way, to be fair I thought you looked familiar that's crazy." "They really do have the best burgers around." He laughs as I heard seb call my name indicating it's nearly time for me to go on. "Guys I think that's my cue it's nice to finally meet you Robbie." I say genuinely as I head towards the stage. I thought I would hate him he looks obnoxious instead he's a nice guy and we have so much in common. I could honestly see myself being good friends with him is that weird?

I start to hype myself up as I finally reach the stage seb gave me a pep talk that consisted of 'you can do this' 'I'm so proud of you' and a few 'I love you's' I grabbed my guitar and made my way onto the stage I saw Tom practically stood on the table whistling and clapping while I heard a couple 'you got this!' And woos from our table. I pulled the stool from the side, sat down and rested my guitar on my leg as I took a deep breath.

'Your eyes so crisp, so green
Sour apple baby, but you taste so sweet.
You got hips like jagger and two left feet
And I wondered if you'd like to meet.'

As I was singing the first chorus I couldn't help but gaze towards Lizzie I got lost in her eyes as she gave me a soft smile in return.

'And I said
Beautiful stranger, here you are in my arms and I know
That beautiful strangers only come along to do me wrong and I hope
Beautiful stranger, here you in my arms
But I think it's finally, finally, finally, finally, finally safe
For me to fall.'

As I finished the song I felt the smirk tug at my lips as her eyes stayed locked onto mine when I realised the music stopped I coughed awkwardly and stood up as everyone started clapping. "Thank you, thank you I'm glad you all liked it." I laughed as I waved and made my way off of  stage as soon as I got off of stage seb pulled me into a hug. "Oh my god you were amazing was it a new song? I don't think I've heard that one before." "It is actually I finished writing it a couple days ago." I smiled as we started our walk back to the table. "I mean you haven't brought anyone home so I'm guessing I don't know them?" He wiggled his eyebrows. "Stop that it's not about anyone the lyrics just came to me I wrote them down and magic!" "So it's not about anyone? Oh my god is it about Lizzie? Is that why you're not telling me?!" He whisper yells. "Oh god no, would you stop! It's not about anyone!" I exclaim hitting his chest.

We finally got back to the table as everyone congratulated me. Lizzie pulled me into a hug and i could smell her almond no... vanilla conditioner; the smell invaded my senses as I sighed content. "You were amazing." She almost whispered into my shoulder. As she pulled back her eyes caught mine, the way the lights shone illuminating her green iris made my heart flutter and it was in that moment I realised the song was in fact about someone.

It was about her...

A/n: today's question is are you more of an introvert or extrovert?

I'm more of an introvert if I'm with people I don't know I tent to just put my air pods in and ignore the world but if I'm with my friends I'm loud and out going if that makes sense.

Anyway I hope you have a good rest of the day <3 this chapter was quite short but the next is a lot longer (:
