The Babysitter

Chapter 1

"Ash, can you watch Nova for me. I'm going on in ten" Colby said walking over to Ashley with his little girl
"Colby, I have to get my makeup and hair done, I go on right after you"
"Please Ash, all you have to do is watch her she'll be on her iPad the whole time"
"Colby..."
"Please, Ash I'll even pay you"
"Okay I'll do it but seriously you have to find a babysitter for Nova, other than your mother who can come on the road with you" She said picking up Nova
"I'll do soon, I promise. Bye Baby girl" Colby said kissing his daughters head
"Bye bye dada, be careful"
"I will, be good for Aunt Ashley"
"Otay" She waved bye as he walked to the gorilla
It had been hard on Colby ever since him and his ex-girlfriend, Sara broke up. Especially because it was after she had Nova. But he was also very grateful that she let him keep Nova instead of her taking the little girl with him
"Daddy?" The little girl said calling for her dad after he had tucked her in bed
"Yes baby girl?"
"When are we going back home. I miss Nana"
"Soon I promise, you'll also get to see Uncle Jon" The little girls eyes lit up at Colby's words
"Yay, we will also get to see Aunt Renee?"
"You know we will. Now time for sleep we have to fly to LA tomorrow"
Right after Colby finally got Nova to go to sleep he went online and set up a meeting to find a babysitter for Nova at his wrestling school on one of the days they were closed. Then called it a night and went to bed
3 days later, they were at a Live Event in Las Vegas
"Hey Colby, I see you finally put it out there that you need a babysitter"
"Yes I took your advice and finally did it. On the other hand all these people might just be fans and I'll end up not finding a babysitter"
"You'll find one, out of the 1,000 people who said they'll be at the interview. You better find a good babysitter, your not even hot"
"You take that back"
"Nope, it's true Manny is stronger and cuter than you" She said as she turned around and walked out of his private locker room. He rolled his eyes and looked over to his daughter sleeping peacefully on the couch, he smiled and kissed her head as he started to pack up to leave
