The Babysitter

Chapter 2

1 week later, Colby and Nova were alone at the wrestling school on a Sunday, getting ready for the interviews for being Novas babysitter, Colby also did some research on the people that did sign up and declined some of the people already just so they'll won't be a horde of people there.
"Alright Nova all you have to do is sit next to me while I ask them questions and if you don't like them, just say the word okay?"
"Okay"
Colby officially opened the doors and there was about 15 people here already

"So hello what's your name?" Colby asked the lady in front of him
"My name is Ava, I'd love to be Nova babysitter and I'd also love to get to know you. You know maybe we could go on a dat-"
"Next. I'm looking for a babysitter not a girlfriend" Colby said interrupting the woman, Nova giggled
"Okay next"
"Hi my name is Luca, I'm so up to babysitting Nova, she seems so cute and adorable I can't wait!"
"Mhm okay, what do plan on doing with her?" He asked
"Well we could go to the park and watch Tv"
"That's pretty good, you have a chance of babysitting Nova" Colby wrote down his name on the paper and looked at Nova
"I really liked him daddy, he said he'd take me to the park" He smiled

Colby interviewed a lot more people, there were some more fans, then people who didn't have any experience and some others that knew what they were doing, but still after all that Luca was still both their first choice
"Alright I think Luca is going to be you new babysitter baby" Colby said
"Yay, he was really nice"
"Yeah he was, but I'm going to go do some stuff before we leave and go to grandmas house"
"Okay" Colby went to into his office, 10 minutes later a lady knocked on the doors of the school. Nova looked up from her fathers phone and quickly ran to his office
"Hey baby what's wrong?"
"There's a lady at the door" Colby got up and walked to the doors and opened them
"Hello I'm sorry I'm late for the interview there was so much traffic, I was hoping there was still a chance to get the job" She had a Irish accent, and dirty blonde hair and she was about 5'5
"Umm yeah sure come in"
Colby let her in and brought her to his office, and let Nova stay on his phone in the wrestling rink
"So tell about yourself"
"Well my name is Rebecca but you could call me Becks, Becky or Becca. I'm 27 years old and I'm looking forward to getting a chance of babysitting Nova"
"If she was bored what would you do with her?"
"Well we could go to the park, or maybe just cook, if she'd like, but its honestly whatever she wants to do, as long as it's safe and you're okay with it"
"What happens if she gets hurt?"
"I'll drive her to the hospital, also while driving there I'd call you so you could meet us there"
"Nice okay, I'll send you a email within the next 2 to 3 business days to tell you if you got the job or not"
"Okay thank you" Rebecca got up and left the building

"So was she nice daddy?" The little girl asked on the way to her Nana's house
"Yes she was very nice I think I like her better than Luca for you. She's also very pretty"
"Hey you said to that girl "Im looking for a babysitter not a girlfriend"
"Yes I did say that, but just because I said she's pretty doesn't mean we're going to date"

While they were at Hollys house, Colby told her about both Luca and Rebecca, he also showed her their resumes
"I think you should go with Rebecca"
"Why is that mom?"
"Well first because Nova needs another woman influence other than me, Ashley and Renee. Then because if you think about it that man might be a pervert I don't want him around my grandbaby"
Colby chuckled and hugged his mother
"Thanks mom"
"Also Colby be a little more aware next time that if you clearly look at the picture he's gay. He didn't wanna babysit Nova, he wanted you"
"Well thank you for that mom. I'll come get her in 3 days"
"Okay be safe" Colby left the house and jumped on a plane to Texas for a live event
