'The Album' Passed 1 Billion Streams In 48 Hours January 28, 2023. Written by Kim Shin-byul.
After around 3 months of waiting, Hana finally released her first all-English album which was named 'The Album'. It was released yesterday around 1 pm KST.
Overall, there are 17 tracks in the album which were previously in Korean language, now been translated and re-recorded in English. Including the 17 tracks, Hana added 4 new songs for her fans.
This afternoon, Spotify announced that The Album has surpassed 1 billion streams in Spotify alone. It was achieved in 42 hours and is currently, still rapidly increasing every second.
Hana held a VLIVE in the evening to celebrate the release of The Album, an all-English album.
She also explains to her fans that she is not aiming for any achievement for this album and so the fans don't have to feel pressured or burdened to 24 hours stream her songs.
