Chapter 18

Kenma sit on the bench leisurely, his team mates are circling around him, like bees, they swarm and asked almost the same things.

"Is Hinata really in a relationship?"

"Did you see the face if the girl?"

"Are you sure he wasn't forced?"

"Had any information yet?"

He simply shook his head. According to the book, the fanon Kenma Kozume is a complicated domineering person. He grew up spoiled and never experienced to not get what he wants, that's why, when he met the innocent Hinata Shoyo, he started to chase after him but ended up being friend zoned a lot of times. He thought, he never experienced competition since all of his enemies are giving up in the middle — but this time, the peer pleasure of being unconsciously rejected by someone he likes is something he never knew he would want.

Whenever he seeks touch and closeness with the the oblivious Hinata, he can see the jealous gazes from the others.

When he sees people taking his Hinata away, he will eliminate them in a silent way. He hides all his flaws from Hinata, not wanting the latter to be scared of him.

This time, since the original Kenma is occupying his body, he cannot act unaccordingly. Yes, he was also a little spoiled in his childhood but that doesn't mean he's a tyrant.

The fanon Kenma is unreasonable.

"Am i really unreasonable?"

A sudden chilling whisper brushed on Kenma's ears. His body grew cold and his face paled. With his eyes widen, he stood up, causing everyone to shut up.

"What the... Who was that?" he look behind him. But there is nothing there except the benches and wall.

He swears, he heard someone whispered in his ear just now!

Yaku looked at him confused. "What?"

Kenma regained his composure. His hand is still shaking but he managed to hide it in his pocket. "Nothing. Just a bug."

Then he coolly made his way out of the gym, leaving everyone behind.

When he reached a place that no one is around, just a little away from the dormitory, he touched his ear, bewildered.

"Who was that...?" he said in a daze.

The voice... It sounds like...

"It sounds like me...?" Kenma murmurs. It's true. The voice that he heard, it sounds like him.

Maybe he's just hearing things? Hallucinating, maybe?

Kageyama is standing in front of the locker room, he heard the entire thing. Although, he doesn't know the reason of why Hinata is crying — He thought maybe it has something to do with the people he knows.

He clench his fist. He gritted his teeth. He cannot just watch anymore.

He knock gently on the door, avoiding startling the tangerine. "Tsukishima, let's talk." he said in a serious tone.

Tsukishima's eyebrow furrowed. He didn't get it at first. But when he saw the worried yet angry expression of Kageyama, he nodded.

"Hinata, Nishinoya is in the cafeteria with Narita,Tanaka, Kinoshita and Asahi." He gently stroke the smaller's hair.

Hinata nodded before silently leaving.

When the tangerine left, Tsukishima made his way to Kageyama. "What is it?"

He can feel that Kageyama is not in the mood to joke around. I mean, even himself. The sight of Hinata having a breakdown is painful.

Kageyama took a deep cold breath. "I... I want to do something to them."

"To who?"

"Sugawara, Daichi, Yamaguchi, Atsumu, Akaashi, Kuroo, Oikawa and Kenma." each name is making him mad. Why didn't he think of it before? Why just now? Now that Hinata is already broken.

Tsukishima feel the same. He's also angry at them, but he cannot lose rationality or else, the situation will rather end up unexpected. "Should we inform Nishinoya as well?"

"But... Nishinoya is staying silent. Whenever he gets chances of speaking, he closes his mouth and shuts up."

Tsukishima sighed. "Calm down. Nishinoya is blackmailed. Remember, Daichi have blackmailing photos."

"Then why did he stopped us that time as well!?"

When coach Ukai was interrogating Sugawara last night, Kageyama was about to snap and tell the whole thing but Nishinoya stopped him. He was frustrated because he can't understand why, why would they let the situation pass?

"If we spoke at that time, Suga will ask us with evidence, if we say we have Hinata as evidence, is Hinata even in the right mind to speak? And the photos in Daichi, if ever he gets pissed at post it, Hinata will be in much grave danger. He worked hard for his career, do we have the heart to ruin it?"

Suddenly, a person came from behind Kageyama.

With their eyes widen, they faced the person.

"Kita?" Tsukishima said.

But Kita remained indifferent. "I'll help, I know a connection in the government."

The cafeteria is full of murmurs, whispers and gossips. Which of course, didn't go unheard to Hinata.

"Hinata, don't worry, we will listen to you, ok? We won't believe those rumors." Kinoshita consoled.

Nishinoya is gripping on his chopstick. The rumor is getting wore. From Hinata have a girlfriend to Hinata is straight to Hinata is only using the other teens for popularity and is also a cheater. He cannot bear with it and stay silent.

How could anyone just believe those nonsense rumors!? And why did Kenma even said it!? And Atsumu that asshole, why did he spread it!?

One more thing that Nishinoya finds really frustrating — why is Kenma not doing anything!?

"That bastard..." he gritted his teeth. He's getting mad time to time.

So what if Hinata have a girlfriend? So what if he hides it? So what if he's straight?

Suddenly, he felt a hand on his back, consoling him. It's Asahi. "Calm down, we'll fix this ok? We'll help, I will help."

He finally calmed down, he let go of the grip and glance at Hinata with worries. Silently, he said, "I'll get rid of them."
