Chapter 20

Kita Shinsuke stood before the police inspector Lim. He's holding a folder that contains information about the crimes committed by Daichi Sawamura.

"Are you sure about this?" Lim asked him.

Kita nodded. He had been holding these for a year now but he wasn't able to hand it to the police, afraid of Kenma hearing about it. After all, that sly cat have connections within the police as well.

"Once this goes within investigation and proven true. He will be sent to the police, interrogate and then goes to the court and only then will he be able to go to the prison. What if he drags you with him?"

"It's ok." he said as if it's really nothing. He don't fear whether Daichi will drag his name, after all, he never do anything offensive. His only sin is he stayed silent.

Inspector Lim sighed. "Alright. We'll go straight to the location."

Nishinoya pants as he stood wobbly in the corridor. He had been trying to find Hinata but the latter is still missing.

"Should I inform the others?" He whispered to himself. Just as he as about to run again when he heard a voice from behind.

"Noya?"

He turned around. "Oh, Asahi! Good, I was trying to find Shoyo. He wasn't in his room when I went there."

"I... Noya? Do you like Hinata?"

Nishinoya stiffen. "What? Of course."

"I mean.. Like, romantically?"

"Ah..." Nishinoya beamed. "I like Hinata but I don't think I like him romantically. It's just like a crush. I adore him — that's all."

Asahi sighed in relief. "Oh..."

Nishinoya plaster a teasing look. "What? Are you jealous?"

Asahi blushed. "I— why would I—"

Nishinoya laughed. "Hey! We've been dating for a year now. No need to be jealous!"

That's right. Nishinoya and Asahi are dating. Even though they are both infatuated with Hinata Shoyo, their feelings for each other are way stronger.

That's also one of the reason why Hinata kept on clinging with Nishinoya. It's to trigger Asahi's feelings and deepen their relationship.

Suddenly, an alarmed scream came from their behind.

It's Ennoshita. "Asahi! Nishinoya! Come, quick! There are police outside!"

Kenma is in daze. Why is Hinata treating him like this? Did he do something?

"Shoyo, What are you—"

Hinata cut him off. "Kenma. Do you remember what you told me when you raped me a month ago?"

Kenma's eyes widen. He don't understand. Didn't Hinata had only been here for a week? Perhaps, is he talking about the fanon Hinata? Because he know he never raped anyone!

"You... You asked me to be your wife. You said I should give an answer sooner." Hinata gripped tightly on the hem of his hoodie.

Out of nowhere, Kenma heard a voice similar to his. "No... No... You will answer yes... Mine... Mine... You're mine..."

Kenma froze. He glance at the two people in front of him but they don't seem to hear it at all. He glance round, but there's no one aside from them.

In a daze, Kenma came in to a conclusion. He can hear the thought of the fanon Kenma Kozume. That only meant that the fanon is still inside this body.

"Kenma, I'll give you my answer now." Hinata's eyes are like daggers, slicing through Kenma deep and deadly.

When Hinata said that, the voice inaide Kenma's head started to frantic. "Say yes... Say yes... Yes... Yes... Say it... Yes... Mine... Shoyo is mine... Say yes... Yes... Say yes..."

"No. I won't marry you. I loathe you. I hate you. I hope you rot in hell."

*Dug*

A big harsh pressure came in Kenma's soul. As if it's eating him whole, he slowly feel dizzy and nausea. Until darkness completely ate him.

"I guess... One of them had been dragged to the police station." he murmurs as he stares at the system from the side of his eye.

Then he glance at Kenma. He saw how the latter's eyes became completely different. He saw how it became lifeless as it's soul switched.

Now, the person in front of him is no longer the original Kenma Kozume.

This person standing before him...

"Welcome back, Kenma."

The side of his lips curved. His eyes stings as tears started to flow from it. "Kenma... I hope you don't witness this."
