2. Feelings were like a vortex

His name was Hayden.

I didn't know if it was the man's real name or an alias.

But he called himself Hayden, so I thought of him as that from now on.

I assumed that it would be better that way.

Hayden urged me to sit down.

Sitting on the sofa in the middle of the room, I looked into the room belatedly.

It was a simple room that was quite spacious but had little furniture.

However, some pieces of furniture looked very luxurious, like the expensive clothes he was currently wearing.

I didn't see anyone but the man. There was no woman, no servant.

There were only two of us in the room.

He sat across from me in a graceful gesture.

I looked at him sitting face to face.

Hayden's face had a gloomy cast.

Gray dark clouds on a beautiful face.

The funny thing was, it looked all attractive in its own way.

I should say he had a handsome face from a storybook.

I wanted to rate his face that way.

Of course, he was obviously someone that I couldn't dare to evaluate.

"I heard from your father can neither write nor speak..."

"......"

"So I made a contract with your father. I feel sorry for you, but my story really shouldn't leak out."

Regardless of whether they had a good face or fragile skin, everyone had secrets.

Although he didn't want to reveal his secret to others, he still felt frustrated.

That was why I might sometimes be overwhelmed by such impulses.

"I want to tell my secret somewhere."

The greater the weight of the secret held alone, the more so.

Hayden also seemed to be the same.

I surmised.

His secret would be as dark as the thick shade on his face.

"But I thought you should know about the contract, so I brought this up first."

Hayden, who spoke nonstop, took deep breaths.

I didn't know what identity he was. Besides, I wasn't really curious.

But he was using thoughtful honorifics to me. I thought it was all a bit odd.

And there was a mistake in Hayden's words.

I didn't know how to write. It was just that I was not good at writing.

But I nodded as if I understood.

Sometimes, it was better not to know the truth.

He looked me straight in the eye and continued.

"If the secret is leaked, you will die. Of course, on the premise that you are the source of my secret being leaked."

Hayden had no qualms about killing me.

I had another intuition.

This man. He was a man who often went through the death of people around him.
