The final bell rang and all the students went rushing out the doors but George stayed behind and stopped by his locker before meeting Dream. He put all of his books away other than his math textbook because his teacher gave an assignment. Shutting his locker, he sees Karl walking up to him. They both smiled before Karl said something.

"I thought you were going to hang out with Dream?" During lunch, George told his friend that Dream asked him to hang out after school and that the two could hang out another time. Karl wasn't mad in the slightest, really. He was happy for George to be hanging out with another person, other than himself.

"I still am. I'm just putting some stuff away. About to go meet him, do you wanna walk with me?" George said. Without giving Karl time to answer, he spoke up again. "Too bad, I'm nervous. You're coming with me." Karl just laughed and agreed to go with the shorter male. They walked throughout the empty halls of their high school until they were met with the side doors. The doors were clear and he saw Dream outside with only his friend, Sapnap. That gave him a little bit of closure to see that Techno wasn't there. George dragged Karl outside and put his hand up to his eyes to block the sun. The sun disappeared though, he looked up to see Dream standing in front of it, so George could see.

"Hey, you ready?" Dream asked.

"Yeah, thank you Karl. I'll catch up with you later." Karl smiled and walked away. Sapnap had already walked off before George looked back.

"What are we gonna do?" George said, walking by Dreams' side.

"I don't know, are you hungry?" Dream looked over to the smaller boy. George's stomach turned. With Dream being a new friend he had to hide everything again. He hid everything from Karl for years, could he even do that all over again? George shrugged, but shook his head no.

"Alright, well we could go sit at the park for a bit, if you're comfortable with that." Dream got into his car while George nodded. Dream could tell this was George's first time hanging out with someone in awhile, and he wanted George to feel as comfortable as possible. Dream wanted to know more about the boy, but he seemed closed off. He turned down his music to speak up.

"So, how was your day?" was all he managed to say.

George giggled. "It was good, thank you for asking. How was your day?" He replied.

"It was alright, other than the fact that I have math homework that I have no clue how to do. Might just have Sapnap send me his." The taller boy said.

"What math are you in?" George asked.

"Pre Calculus." Dream said.

"Too easy, I'm in AP Stats. I can help you if you want." George offered.

"Really? That'd be awesome, but are you sure? I'm a little slow when it comes to math, so bear with me." He laughed, which caused George to laugh as well, but agreed to help him. They made it to the park and got out, Dream immediately heading towards the swings.

"C'mon George!" George made his way to the boy and sat down next to him on the swings. They sat comfortably in the silence that was around them. Dream set his belongings on the ground and really started swinging, while George on the other hand, was just swaying.

"Dream, slow down! You're gonna fall!" George laughed.

"No way, I'm too good." Dream sounded cocky, but he jumped off and landed it, receiving a good applause from George. Dream walked back, sitting on the swing he had just jumped off of seconds ago.

"So if you don't mind me asking, why do you only have Karl?" Dream blurted. George looked at him, not even knowing how to respond.

"I uh, I don't know. Nobody really took a chance on me and to be completely honest, I don't really like people all that much." He shrugged.
