The third week was here and Nina enjoyed working at the Breakfast Cafe. There was something the girl couldn't shake off, no matter how hard she tried.
Nina would experience a racing heartbeat whenever Yoongi was around. She didn't know what it was, but she shrugged it off for now. It was Friday today and she was happy about that.
With a small grin on her face, Nina stretched and got out of her bed then exited her room. After doing her morning routine, Nina wore her uniform. She dashed down the stairs, not forgetting to grab a banana on the way.
Walking inside the cafe, Nina spotted the person who caused her to smile. As she walked to the counter, Yoongi sent her his signature gummy smile.
A smile graced her lips as her heart started to race. Butterflies would fly around in the pit of Nina's stomach when she was with Yoongi as well. A blush would appear on her cheeks but she hid it. Trying to ignore what she felt was the best for now.
"Where is Seokjin?" Nina asked curiously.
Her best friend glanced at her before he replied. "I think he is going to come by later. We know the ropes so he barely comes by to check anything."
She smiled and nodded as customers started to pile in. Nina's mind drifted to the blue-haired from time to time. It was a good thing that she concentrated whilst she was in the cafe.
"Hello, welcome to the Breakfast Cafe. What would you like today?" Nina asked politely.
The woman looked at the menu then back at the worker. "I'd like a hot caramel macchiato please."
The girl nodded with a smile then told the customer the price. She gave her best friend the message as the woman placed the money down on the counter.
The day ended and the shift was over for the two.
It was nighttime as Seokjin entered his cafe at closing time. " How was the cafe today?" He asked with a smile on his face.
"It was great, although it was busy today." Nina replied as the blue-haired agreed with her.
"Okay. You can go. I'll close up for the night." Seokjin said.
The former high schoolers nodded before they exited the cafe, not forgetting to say goodbye as they headed home.
