With love once so bright,
With love that brought much light,
With love now comes with torment,
With love now comes with bloodshed.
When love starts to feel like torture,
The butterflies turn into a different creature.
Once feeling butterflies and blooming flowers,
Are now nothing but pain and crawling spiders,
But even if you're hurt with this love,
Why can't you stop when this is enough.
Even if this causes you misery,
You still feel that this will be the remedy.
You are hurting yourself,
With love that you know belongs to someone else.
You are worth more than this pain,
You are worth more than this sorrow.

Hi! There really isn't a backstory behind this. I just wanted to express something. You know how when you're in love, you feel "butterflies in your stomach?" Yeah it's kinda like that, but this love turns into something more painful experience than before, morphing these butterflies into a much more unpleasant creature to think of - spiders. Even if you're hurt by this love, you keep looking for it because you feel safe, but hurt. Kinda a sad story. I hope everyone finally frees themselves from this eternal torment and look for someone who you truly deserve!<3
