Trivial or significant?
Torn between these two adjectives.
Which one will my mind yield to?
Which one defines me?
No, which one defines me,
to you?
Am I overthinking it?
Or is your lack of time,
your lack of attention,
only a manifestation
of my thoughts?
Or do you really mean good?
You see, my Love,
it's a constant battle in my head
between what I think
and what you said.
Now, I do believe
that words
hold a great amount
of truth.
I can see it in your eyes,
you care,
you really do.
But words only go that far,
I need you to show me too.
