A/N: Levi got inside and to find out Y/N was cleaning her table.

"Tch. Can't even tell her cadets to clean her table" he said while mocking her

A/N: Y/N got pissed but maintained the strict manner

"Not like you, you're abusing your cadets kept letting them clean your office. And their times I caught you punishing Connie for something" She responded annoyingly

"Well, what makes you come here AGAIN?" She added

Levi went close to her and gave her the letter and left.

"Oi! Shorty what's this?" She shouted

"Read the letter and you will find out," Levi said without looking back and left

"Aish... this Levi Ackerman never changed. He still keeps me curious about every letter he gives to me" she said while being annoyed at Levi's not so changing attitude towards her.

*(At the letter) *

Y/N,

I apologize for our argument years ago... It was my fault for not understanding that Titan almost ate me and you killed him in front of me which made me mad at you after the expedition. It was wrong to indict you for no reason at all. I hope someday we can be friends again...

A/N: after Y/N read the letter a visible tear dropped she wiped it quickly.

"Even after those years, we didn't talk about it and become cold to each other his soft side hasn't faded yet." She said to herself

Meanwhile, she went outside and found Levi in the forest resting minding his quiet business.

"Found you Brat," she said in surprise

"I knew you would come," Levi said in front of her

"I-I appreciated the letter Levi-san, but even those years why in this time when I started to become cold to you, you had the chance to apologize nor gave me a letter?" She asked

Levi was silent for a moment when he hugged Y/N out of the blue which shocked Y/N.

"What's with the hug shorty?" Y/N asked

Levi sat silent, and didn't move any muscle at all... he just hugged Y/N

(Levi's thought)

Cause If I ever would do that in the past for sure, argue again. And I don't want to lose a friend like you, you're the only girl who made me believe again that it's ok to make friends with others without a cold expression.

"L-Levi, I think it's late I-I have to go now" Y/N excused trying to let go of his hug, but sadly didn't

"Stay" Levi whispered which chilled Y/N's soul

After a minute or so, Levi let go of her.

"You haven't answered my question Captain Levi Ackerman," Y/N said not forgetting the question she mentioned earlier

"I'll answer It in the future, once you and I are ok," Levi said while leaving

"O-Oi!" Y/N said trying to catch him
