"Forget what I said brat"

A/N: Levi and Y/N went to the hilly part and sat there and watched the stars glow... The two were quiet and were just admiring the stars. Levi on the other hand was staring at Y/N's beauty... not realizing he was really admiring her.

(Flashback)

"Oi! Levi, be careful not to like me because once you like me. you might even wanna marry me" the 21-year-old Y/N teased

"Shut up. I won't fall for you. Plus, were best friends no benefits just enemies" Levi rest assured

"Tsk. We'll see" Y/N smirked

"You're different from the past Y/N," Levi said out of the blue

"Even you, you haven't grown an Inch or so..." Y/N sarcastically teased

"Tch." He replied annoyed by what she said

"Hey, remember when you teased me that If I fell for you, I'll marry you?" Levi changed the topic

"Y-Yeah... but that's the past no chance you'll fall for me" Y/N stuttered

"What if I would?" Levi said out of nowhere

"Then, should I marry you?" he added

"Why so? When back then we were just idiots who try to get our anger out and kill titans that's our job Levi plus, you like to focus on them and not love? And so am I" Y/N excused

"Yeah. You're right, I am but I am afraid I would lose the person who became my friend and now archnemesis" Levi said staring at her

"Levi, I never thought we could be friends again after we became enemies back then," Y/N said with relief

Levi didn't answer back and was just looking at the stars.

"You haven't answered my question back when you hugged me" Y/N remembered

"I said I'll answer it once were both ok," Levi said avoiding answering the question

"But I have the right to know!" She defended

"Plus, we're now OK so why not now?" She added

"Now is not the right time" He replied

"Or you're just afraid to tell me the truth" She bitterly said

"Not that way Y/N, I have a reason why" He excused

"And what reason then? If not now, then why?!" Y/N defended

"You won't understand it" Levi replied coldly

"Why wouldn't I understand it? Why!? Levi answers me!?" Y/N angrily said

"Because I am afraid to lose you!" Levi angrily answered

It shocked Y/N. she just stood there frozen. Not knowing he was afraid to lose her.

"Y-You were a-afraid to l-lose me?" She stood and walk steps back away from him

"Yes! And that's why I said not now!" Levi explained

"Because this will happen. You won't understand me!" He added

"Why are you afraid to lose me?" Y/N asked

Levi got quiet for a moment and breathed.

"Nothing" He bitterly said

"Levi, why are you avoiding my questions if you are my real friend prove it to me then" Y/N dared

Levi didn't move a muscle

"Prove it to me" Y/N dared again

Levi has no choice but to prove it to her, by hugging her but she pushed him.

"Is that the way you prove to me that YOU'RE AFRAID TO LOSE ME?" Y/N scoffed

"What do you want me to prove to you? by Kissing you?" Levi said losing his temper

Y/N got quiet when he mentions kiss you

"It's late, we have to go back now" Levi excused

"And brat forget what I said" He added

 The next day, Y/N and Levi avoided each other. Levi was avoiding seeing Y/N and so she is to him. The rest of their squad got confused about them. On the first day, their friends avoid each other and become enemies.

"Something is fishy about these two" Historia guessed

"No. It's more than that" Jean said

"I think they're avoiding each other because they're still enemies" Eren guessed

"Dummy! Not that" Mikasa defended

"Then what?" Eren asked

"Ehem." Levi cleared his throat

"What are you all talking about?" He added

"Nothing Captain" They all replied

The two seem fishy to the squad but for them, it looks like a misunderstanding occurred.
