𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗨𝘀, 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺 {𝟮}

~Chapt.7~||Lazy Day

*At Yazmin's House*

"Sooo?" Yazmin started off.

Yazmin sat on her bed next to Sweet Pea, on FaceTime with Veronica while her Serpent boyfriend looked for a movie for the both of them to watch. It was three weeks after Riot Night, and still, a lot of stress and tension is still in the air.

*Flashback to Riot Night*

"It was Mrs.Klump." Archie told Sweet Pea.

Archie was trying to convince a furious and hurt Sweet Pea, after Sweet Pea claimed seeing Reggie shoot her right in the stomach.

"I saw Mantle with a gun!" Sweet Pea yelled.

"Then you saw me tackle him before he got a shot off." Archie pointed out.

He continued as a tear fell off the tall serpent's face.

"It was Midge's mom. She's down at the station."

"And Yazmin is clinging to life."  Sweet Pea said, sternly.

Even though he has more tears forming in his eyes, he continued to speak.

"And, whether it was Reggie or Mrs.Klump who pulled the trigger, a Northsider put her there!" Sweet Pea now yelled.

The tears escaping his eyes now.

"You took our friend. Our land. My girlfriend." He raged.

Archie frowned, knowing how much Yazmin being shot effected the Riverdale teens.

Cheryl didn't get the news yet, but, when she did? She will go full blown, poison ivy.

*Flashblack over*

"Do you know when you can come back to Me, Cheryl, Toni and the rest of the Vixens? You know we miss you." Veronica asked some questions, and made known to Yazmin that the people she loves, miss her.

Yazmin smiled, seeing her cousin smiling from ear to ear on the other side of the phone, hoping to see her soon.

"Well , I was going to surprise you guys. But obviously, someone is impatient. Monday, I will be back. Sunday is Midge's funeral so it would be nice to honor her. And as Co-HBIC, I will do the honor of displaying Midge's Vixen uniform with the iconic pins she has on it. In the trophy case." Yazmin grinned.

Veronica squealed.

"I'm legit so excited!"

"Next to Jason's bulldog jersey. I've already asked Cherry."  Yazmin confirmed.

"Good. The last thing we need is Cheryl's toxic attitude." Veronica sighed out.

"Damn right, Prima." Yazmin chuckled.

Yazmin's POV

Me and Ron tell each other jokes for about ten minutes before my uncle and Vee's father, Hiram enters her bedroom .

"Mija. Who are you on the phone with?" Hiram asked.

Veronica started to drift away from being "Daddy's little girl" some months after Hiram was released from jail. I mean, I understand why. He betrayed her trust. Broke apart their family. Kept numerous a amount of secrets. Made people hate Veronica/want to do bad to her because of his criminal behavior and actions. Made Veronica almost lose all the people who care about her and who she cares about. Hired people to kill Hermione (my titi-in-law, her mom). And most of all, he put them and ME in danger. But, I still have Lodge blood in me, and when me and Vee were 13, both of our names were put on as Owners of "Lodge Industries." I'm picking up the So-Dale project in the Southside, which yes, upset my Serpent friends, because I am a Serpent, but they dropped it knowing that I am a Lodge.

Veronica rolled her eyes before answering her father.

"It's Yazmin."

"Oh, hello Mija." Hiram greeted me, I'm sure he did so with a genuine smile.

No, Hiram isn't my father, he's my dad's brother. But, when my father left, my mother put him as my secondary legal guardian in-case of anything, making Hermione one too. Tom Keller is my god-daddy, so yes. Kevin Keller is my god-brother. So, Hiram calls me Mija. Me and him get along better than him and Ron, but she doesn't mind, as long as he doesn't have me doing anything illegal. Tom, calls me, "Little Yazzy." So I have 4 legal guardians. My mom, Hiram Lodge, Hermione Lodge, and Tom Keller.

 "Hi papa!" I greeted him back with a smile. Veronica turned the phone so he could see me.

I don't even call my actual dad, "Father, Papa, Daddy, or Papi" because he doesn't really give a shit about me, so he doesn't deserve the title.

"I believe you should think about getting back to the "So-Dale" project. I don't want it kept on hold for so long, Mija." Hiram made known.

"Daddy, she just cane out of recovery. She was shot three weeks ago in her stomach-" Veronica started.

I cut her off. Seeing that she was getting heated quickly and I really didn't want to caught up in a "Veronica vs Hiram" argument. Especially, when Sweet Pea was here.

"La Prima. It's okay, I can handle it. And, yes, papa. I will get started next week. I've got to go, love you papa." I said with a smile and said my goodbyes.

"You too, Mija." Hiram said.

"Bye Prima Vee, I love you." I blew her a kiss.

"Bye, Yazzypooh. I love you more." Veronica said back, blowing me a kiss back.

I put down my phone and turned around to face a smiling Sweet Pea.

"Yes lover boy?" I said, giggling.

"You're so cute when you get back in line with the Lodges, even though I really fucking hate your dad. But, I'm glad you're doing the So-Dale project and not a pyscho like Hiram." Sweet Pea grumbled.

I sighed. I hated how people talked about my dad. Even though he did some unforgivable things, many actually. He took me in when my mom had to go do business in NYC. Me and Veronica were practically sisters. Me and Vee always defended his name. Especially when he was arrested and in jail. Especially when we went to Riverdale High..

*Flashback*

"Is it true what they say about your dad, guys?" Betty's best friend asked, with an engaging face. 

Yep, Kevin looked like he was one to LOVE drama.

Betty was giving Veronica Lodge and her cousin/sister, Yazmin Rosè Lodge, a tour of Riverdale High, being that it was their first day. When Kevin Keller, who Yazmin didn't know is her god-brother just yet, came and started being nosey.

 "That he's the devil incarnate?" Veronica asked, batting her eyes.

"We stand by our father." Me and Veronica said at the same time.

*Flashback over*

I smiled, forgetting the feeling of how others felt.

"Thanks Pea. Thank you for supporting me." I thanked him, ignoring the things he said about Hiram.

He kissed my lips. I pulled away and smiled.

"I love you" Sweet Pea said.

"I love you too, dork." I said, smiling.
