𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗨𝘀, 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺 {𝟮}

~ Chapt.30 || Why, Beanie? ~

** At Pops || 3:27PM **

I sat in a booth and sipped on my Vanilla Milkshake, currently waiting on Jughead. He's 10 minutes late, in about 2 minutes I'm leaving and he'll be dead to me. Just as I was about to get up and pay Pop Tate and head home, Jughead walked in and rushed over to me, apologizing and telling me something about him going to a school called 'Stonewall Prep'. I told him to slow down and sit in a booth with me. 

"Why, Beanie?" I asked, my eyes looking all sad.

"I'm so sorry that I ruined the Serpents, but, Toni and Cheryl need to respect. It's like Cheryl changed Toni once she got into the Serpents." Jughead explained his actions and worries to me.

"Couldn't you just have you know, give me a chance to talk to the two of them, Beanie?" I asked.

"Yes, yes I could have. But, I didn't. The power that I was given, I took a selfish turn with it and I got way to ahead of myself, and I'm so sorry, Yazmin." Jughead apologized.

I got up, and stood on his side of the booth, yanking him up and pulled him into a hug. I pulled away and looked at him.

"It's okay, Beanie. You're family." I told him.

"No Serpent stands alone." Jughead recited one of the famous 'Serpent Laws'.

"Damn straight. No Serpent stands alone." I giggled and repeated the first Serpent Law.

**At Home|| Yazmin's Bedroom || 5:00PM**

"Hey, baby?" I looked up at Sweet Pea from his chest while playing with his dog tag, wanting to ask him a question.

"Yes, Princess?" He smiled and looked down at me.

"After we graduate, will you still be with me?" I questioned, worried about me and Sweet Pea's fate.

"Yes baby, of course, anything you want." He answered, kissing my forehead.

I nodded, still worried about what will happen to 'Sweetmin' in the future. I don't want me and Pea's story to ever end. I want him to stay with me forever, have a kid or kids with him, buy my first house/apartment with him. I never want my love for him to fade. Nor, do I ever want his love for me to fade. He lifted my chin and a tear slipped my eye at my thoughts, I quickly wiped it away and looked into his eyes, which were also glistening. 

"Baby.. please don't cry. I'll never leave you. You see that promise ring I put on your finger?" He asked, a tear slipping his eye, but I wiped it and he smiled a toothless smile.

"Y-yes." I answered on the merge of completely shutting down.

"Baby, what did I tell you that ring means?" He asked, making sure I understood.

"You said that it means that you promise to never leave me. Even when things get hard between us, or life gets rough. It means that you promise to always love me. You said that you promise its us against them." I repeated his words, looking down at the ring smiling through all the tears spilling down my cheek.

"That's right, babygirl. I promise that for infinity, okay?" He asked, wiping my tears.

"Okay, baby. I love you so much, Noah." I said, smiling up at him.

He pressed his soft lips onto mine and I smiled into the kiss and he pulled away and laid my head back down on his chest, and started stroking my hair softly, kissing the top of my head.

"I love you too, Yazmin."
