"Why didn't you tell me?" Billie asked through the phone

"Why didn't you tell me?" Billie asked through the phone.

As soon as Billie left the Ascap Awards, she called Ellie to know more about the tour.

"Because you have to wait like everybody else for this kind of announcement." Ellie said, "Didn't you get super excited about it?"

"Are you kidding me? I almost screamed in front of everybody." Billie answered in a beat.

"Well, my fans got super excited too, and at the same time you did." Ellie chuckled, "I'm kidding, I haven't told you sooner 'cause I didn't know the dates and everything else."

"But you would have, right?" Billie asked, "I mean, if you knew it sooner you would tell me."

"Of course I would." Ellie smiled.

"That's good. Hey, look," Billie said and Ellie heard shuffling in the background, "I gotta go, but I can call you before I go to sleep."

"Okay, I'll be waiting." Ellie said goodbye to Billie and picked up her journal from her bed.

She had a celebration dinner with her family and her team that Alice and Guadalupe made especially for the tour announcement and the Crying in the Club being in three of the Top Global on Spotify.

After saying goodbye to Lexie, Leroy, and Charlotte, she went back to her own house (which is right next to Lupe's house) and got straight to her bedroom.

Her bedroom was a safe place for her. She didn't know if it was the keyboard next to the window or the guitars and ukuleles hanging on her wall or maybe the little studio set up Eric gave her for her fourteenth birthday next to her study desk that brought her this sense of safety.

She already wrote so many lyrics in between these four walls, it's like ideas flew when she was alone.

But that wasn't the case at the moment.

She was working on these lyrics for a week and now she was stuck. So she did what she always did when she needed creativity and picked up her phone.

"Hey Ellie, what's up?" Leroy's voice made a smile appear on the girl's face.

"I'm trying to work on a song but nothing is working. Can I meet in the studio?" Ellie asked, hoping he'd say yes.

"I haven't left since the meeting with Robbie, so just bring the journal and your friend here." Leroy said.

This was something normal, when Ellie had problems with lyrics she would meet with Leroy and they would spend hours working on a song.
