MANAN FF: ESCAPISM 2

Chapter 1

MANAN APARTMENT: 4 15 am

Manan were in deep sleep but a constant ringing broke the sleep of Nandini. In fact, she had previously woken up to switch off her alarm and she was about to fall asleep again when she got a call.

She turned around and stretched her hand to grab the phone but, she was again caged in the arms of her love. Manik hugged her from the back putting his face on the crook of her neck and he placed a wet kiss there which forced Nandini to lose her sense. Then, he snuggles more in her hair letting her scent engulf him.

" See na I could not answer the call because of you." Nandini complained cutely to him.

"So? who wakes up at this time and disturb the sleep of others huh?" Manik mumbled in her hair.

"It could have been an important call Mani, it was chachi and you know they wake up at 4" Nandini said while struggling to turn back.

" Relax jaan, we will call them when we wake up for now let's sleep" Manik said still lost in her hair.

" you sleep, I am going to freshen up." Nandini said while trying to go out of the bed.

Manik tightened his hold on Nandini and pushed her figure more into his muscular body. Nandini forcefully turned around to face him.

" What  are you doing Mani.." Nandini whispered and caressed his face.

"You do know right that I cannot sleep without you so don't go na" Manik said and looked at her to see her reaction.

"But Mani..." Nandini said but Manik put his hand on her mouth.

"shshhh Nandu or else I have better ways to shut you up." Manik told her.

Nandini smiled and placed a wet kiss on the hand which he put on her mouth. Manik removed his hand and closed his eyes. On seeing no reaction from him, Nandini   frowned...she removed the blanket and started peppering wet kisses from his neck to his naked chest which forced him to let out a moan.

"Don't try to awake the monster..you may not be able to sleep Nandini." Manik warned her and Nandini smirked. She came near his ear.

"Maybe..I don't want the monster to let me sleep..." Nandini whispered.

Manik opened his eyes, he placed his lips on Nandini's and hovered upon her. She had awaken the monster and she had to take whatever he would give her. With that, they made love.

ONE FLOOR BELOW MANAN'S APARTMENT, CAVYA'S APARTMENT:

Navya was sipping her chai in the balcony while watching the early morning rainfall. She was in deep thoughts about her life and her future. She walked back inside to keep her empty cup when the main door opened revealing Cabir.

"Welcome home Cabir, I thought you forgot the way back home."Navya taunted while going in the kitchen.

" cut the crap Navya, I am really not in a mood." Cabir said and he sat on the couch."

"Where were you the whole night ?" Navya asked from the kitchen.

"Not now please" Cabir said and looked in his phone.

"Not now then when? I will soon leave to work and  you will sleep like a log...when I will be home,you will go to work." Navya said while keeping a cup of coffee in front of Cabir. He looked at the cup and smiled...his love was angry at him yet, she cared for him.

"When will you manage time for me Cabir?" Navya asked again on seeing him lost.

"stop exaggerating things Navya!" Cabir said in an irritated voice.

"toh tell me na, where were you last night?" Navya yelled.

" I was at the radio station replacing RJ Nishant!" Cabir yelled too.

"you did not even think of informing me?" Navya asked in a cold tone.

"I thought we were on fighting mode." Cabir mocked her.

"Even if we're fighting, you have to tell me. Just because I am angry on you does not mean I don't love you or care for you!" Navya spat in anger.

"For god sake stop over reacting." Cabir said.

Navya said nothing more because it seemed pointless to argue with him. She wiped her tears and went in the kitchen while Cabir sighed and went in the balcony. Both were thinking how they were funny people making everyone laugh and now, they cannot even smile at each other. Is it because of giving too much importance to career or are they falling out of love? Is this possible?
