All were having dinner happily. Manik was silent, relishing the food prepared by his Nandu and his sister in law. Nandini was nervous because Navya was gesturing her to propose Manik right there in front of everyone but, it was not easy...she was afraid. She could not even eat the food well, all she did was creating a hole in middle of the rice with the help of her spoon. Unfortunately, Manik noticed her and glared at her which forced her to start eating.
Later on, Manik went in the washroom, others were sitting in the living room. Navya came to Nandini and smacked her head.
"Tera kuch nahi ho sakta, you were talking so much but what's the use? you could not even say it to Manik" Navya said while narrowing her eyes at Nandu.
"What do you want to tell me?" Manik asked coming in front of them.
Navni widened their eyes on seeing him there looking straight in the eyes of Nandini. Navya pushed Nandu towards Manik and he was quick enough to hold her. Nandini bent down on one knee without breaking the eye contact. This small act brought the attention of everyone on them.
"Nandini what are you doing? Get up, see everybody is watching us." Manik said while looking at Dhrulya and Mukti. Nandini simply ignored what he just said to him. It took her so much courage to bend down in front of them so, she would not back out now.
"Manik...I know you have an idea of what I am doing right now, please relax and listen to me.I know you might be shocked with this sudden proposal but I think, after being in live in for 5 years, it's now time for us to move to the next level. You know na, I am not as romantic as you so, I could not have a proper planning of how to propose you.
When we met for the first time, we were always after each other's neck. Wit6h time, we got fond of each other and helplessly fell in love. We faced too many issues together and you were there always to protect me. I accept I live in a dream world where I imagine there is a happily ever after for everything... but, the truth is you are the one who has always made me believe this. You protected me and fulfilled all my demands. I have always dreamed of this Manik, let's get married... so Mr Manik Malhotra a.k.a monster Manik, will you marry me?" Nandini said everything with a smile.
Manik had a shock expression on his face, he took a while and looked around. His eyes stopped at Dhrulya. He came back to reality when Cabir put a hand on his shoulder. He looked back at Nandini who had stretched out a ring in her hand and was looking at him with hopeful eyes.
"Of course Jaan, I will marry you." Manik said with a smile and Nandini got up. She slid the ring in Manik's finger and hugged him tightly. Finally, Manik was ready to give her his name.

Nandini was so happy that tears started rolling down on her cheeks which made Manik alert. He broke the hug immediately.
"Nanduu what's wrong? why are you crying?". Manik asked and wiped her tears.
"Nothing Manii...it's just that I am so happy right now." Nandini said.
"Are you sure Nandini?" Cabir asked in a serious tone.
"arE let her be na Cabir...it may be one of her ways of expressing her happiness. Don't worry." Navya interrupted.
Surprisingly, Cabir did not lash out at her instead, he looked at her and smile. He pulled Navya to him and put his arm around her shoulder not only shocking Manan but Navya as well. She thought that her interruption would irritate him since he always gets angry on whatever she says. For her it is discussion but for Cabir, it is unnecessary arguments. Navya smiled at Cabir and Cabir smiled back at her. Manan were more shocked, from the past month, they saw them only in fighting mode.
"Guys...let's party we need to celebrate this" Alya chirped.
"You guys continue, I am going home...I need to complete a presentation. Nandini let's go" Manik said.
"You want to complete your work right, what will Nandini do there?" Cabir teased Manik.
"My girlfriend, my home and my wish...what's your problem in that?" Manik retorted.
"soon to be Mrs Manik Malhotra, that's what you should call her now." Navya told Manik.
Cabir looked at Navya and laughed. Nandini blushed in embbarassment and hid her face in Manik's chest.
"You're teasing us a bit too much today, but it's okay...har kutte kka din ata hain we'll see then." Manik said. In reality, he was happy to see some improvements in the relationship of Cavya but, what about his relationship with Nandini? Was he ready for marriage? Will they be happy or is it that to keep one happy, the other one has to sacrifice? Is this what we call adjustments in life?
