For the rest of the day the boys try to distract me. Sam films a Mafia video, Corey drags me into doing a dance video, which was actually really fun. Finally Colby and I film a video with Brennen reading scary stories. It's now 4 in the afternoon and I'm sat watching the boys play rocket league at the same time as reading my moms spell book to see if I can find anything to help us get rid of whatever this thing is. Since putting out the protection bags things haven't really happened. Opening up another book something falls out. I pick it up and see a picture "What the fuck" I mutter "What's up?" Colby asks putting down his controller. I hand him the picture of my mom holding a baby and my father holding another one. On the back it says 17th June 1995 "Rhys' birthday" I say more to myself. I then hear footsteps coming down the stairs. Clare walks into the living room then collapses. I scream her name while running towards her "Jake ring an ambulance" Sam yells as he checks Clare's breathing and puts her in he recovery position while Colby is now stood holding me "She's going to be ok" "I can't loose her" "Your not going to" Jake walks over to us.
Finally the ambulance arrives, I'm in the back of it holding Clare's hand. Once we arrive at the hospital Clare is whisked away while I'm left alone in the waiting area until the others arrive "Rose" I turn to see Kat running in with Tara, Devyn and Xepher "hey" I'm pulled into a hug by the girls and burst into tears "shhh everything going to be ok" "I wish people would stop saying that. We don't know if she's going to be ok" I cry out "Where are the others?" Sam asks "They're on their way. Aryia is bringing Cassie, Reggie and Kevin. Mikes on his way with Brennen" "Let's go sit down" Kat says pulling me over to the seats.
We sit there for what feels like hours, the others have arrived. The doctor walks over to us "Who's Clare's guardian?" "That's me. I adopted her" I stand up "Ok follow me" I follow the doctor into Clare's room, she's fast asleep "she collapsed due to dehydration" "She's been throwing up a lot. I was going to ring the doctors if..." I chock on my words "this is my fault" "It's no ones fault. We will give her some anti sickness medicine. We will need to run tests to see why she's so sick. If everything comes back clear she can go home" "Thank you" the door knocks, I turn my head to see Colby "Can I come in" "Of course" I smile "I'll leave you guys alone" the doctor walks out and I explain to Colby what the doctor said to me.
