Hello lovely readers
The next two poems will have a Trigger Warning of Abuse and Abandonment within a Dysfunctional family.
I want those of you who have experienced these situations to know you are not alone. You should never have had to have gone through abuse , be it physical, emotional, phycological or financial. Never. You were forced to grow up too fast. I am so sorry you had to parent yourself. I am so sorry you had to be the adult. I hope you find the warmth and support you need in your life and have the courage to leave. Make your life your own. Don't let anyone else own it.
My messages are always open for support or for the need to vent. I know how difficult it can be. Trust me when contemplating on leaving the hardest part is taking the first step and even after you've left you will think about going back, it won't be easy. But that first step ? You've got to take it.
