Y/N's POV
"Y/n! Come on I really need help with this shit your way smarter than me" My friend Kara begged
"Fine I'll help you, just text me later and we can figure out a time to meet up alright?" I said
"Sounds good thank you so much" she said as she walked out of the building
I sighed and looked at the ground, I adjusted my bag and walked out of the building. College was really hard, the first week was difficult I was homesick and California is a whole lot different than home. I may have hated living with my grandparents because I had to move away from where all my friends were but at least I had my mom and siblings around, sure my little brother and sister were annoying sometimes but I loved having them around, it was quiet in my dorm and I hated that. I eventually got used to it but I still miss home and when I do I usually call my mom to hear about what's going on there.
I didn't feel like going back to my dorm so I decided to go to Starbucks to get something to drink. I started walking to the Starbucks that was near the campus. I wasn't looking where I was going and accidentally bumped into someone.
"Oh shit I'm so sorry" I said as I looked at them
"Y/N?" I realized it was Ethan
"Ethan?" I said surprised
"Well this is a surprise" he laughed a little
"Yeah" I laughed "what are you doing here?"
"I'm with Mark we're working on a project" he said
"Fun fun" I said as I looked at the ground
"What about you?"
"I go to college here" I said
"Oh sweet" he smiled
"Y/N!! IS THAT YOU" a voice yelled
I looked up to see Mark, Amy, and Tyler walking up to us.
"Y/N!! What a surprise" Amy smiled
"Hey!" I laughed
"How come you never told us you were here" Mark asked
"Cause I didn't know you guys were here" I laughed
"Okay true true" he laughed
"Mark don't we gotta get shit for the video" Ethan asked
"Yeah yeah, did Ethan tell you that we do YouTube" Mark asked
"No he didn't" I said surprised
"Well now you know" mark laughed "we were going to the store to get stuff for a don't laugh video"
"Ah nice sounds fun" I laughed
"Come on mark let's gooo" Ethan said impatiently
"Alright, y/n we'll have to plan a day for all of us to catch up" Amy said "do you have my number?"
"No I don't" I said as I pulled my phone out
Amy quickly wrote her number on a piece of paper and handed it to me.
"Text me when you can and then we can figure out a day" she smiled
"Alright sweet, I'll see you guys later" I waved to them
"See ya" Amy waved back
