you looked in the mirror wearing the necklace it felt empty but at the same time you felt warmness
"yo umi-chin!" you heard someone say, you flinched hearing Mikey's voice and looked behind to see him already seating on the couch
"Mikey you scared me?!" you said placing a hand on your chest where your heart is located
"Sorry sorry! but you should close your door next time if you don't want me coming in" he said smiling brightly as if he didn't do anything
you sighed and sat next to him "so what do you need? it's already pretty late.." you said looking at the clock
he grabbed your hand and pulled you "there's a place I want to take you to..." he said rubbing his head from the back
"sure let's go!" you answered him back happily
you went and wore your shoes and got out with him, he was still holding your hand leading the way to his motorbike
"come on hurry up!" he said as he got on his bike, you both got on and rode away
there were no cars in the streets as the ocean was like playing a calm song with its wave and it was very cold a nice mood to set with
you put your head on Mikey's back and just watch the lights go and come by every time he passes one
after a 10-minute drive, he stopped at a forest and held your hand, his hand was... shaking a little
"Mikey are you okay??" you asked as you hold tightly his hand which he just answered with a nod without even looking at you
and then when you passed a few trees there... a beautiful picnic was placed there with an amazing view
your eyes glittered as you saw the starry night and the streets and the ocean, you smiled and ran there holding Mikey's hand
"you prepared this?!" you said feeling the cold air hitting your face, you sat down and Mikey sat next to you
he smiled looking at your side and seeing you happy "yeah do you like it?" he asked tilting his head while placing his arm on his leg
"of course!! it's so pretty and beautiful" you replied to Mikey still watching the starry night
"not as beautiful as you..." Mikey whispered hugging his legs and placing his head on his knees looking at you
"did you say something?" you asked as you faced him, he quickly looked away
"n-nothing!" he replied blushing, covering his face
you two laid down just starring at the stars talking about how some of them looked like animals, people, and even flowers
"Yumeko..." Mikey said as he got up
"yeah? whatsup??" you said getting up too and brushing your dress
he kneeled down as he got a black box from his pocket and opened it, it was matching rings
"Yumeko.. when we grow up let's get married! please be my lover!.." he yelled as he closed his eyes
you looked at him shocked and panicked after a few minutes Mikey didn't get an answer so he looked up to see you tearing up but still smiling
"u-umi?!" he said getting confused he doesn't know how to react when he sees a girl cry especially if it was you.
"of course you dummy! it's a promise" you said weeping your tears away and showing him your beautiful smile
he also smiled and took your hand gently and placed the ring on your finger and you placed the other on his finger
"I'll never treat you badly I promise..." he said taking your hand that he placed your finger on and kissed it softly
"I love you Yumeko"
"I love you too manjiro!"
