The New Kid ( Ben )

Y/n's POV:

We helped the new kid get up,
well Ben, and we made our way out of the sewers.
We hopped on to our bikes and
Ben rode behind Bill.
As we we're biking through the Barrens,
I heard a faint scream but I didn't know where it came from
but I just shrugged it off and continued to bike
with the rest of the losers.

We were already on the streets and all
we could hear
is Eddie rambling about our safety?
How bad things could happen to Ben because if his wound, and about AIDS?
I don't know, I wasn't really
paying attention.
Although Eddie was all anxious about this situation he was still somehow cute.

" And a drop of AIDS blood got into his system, through a hangnail.
THROUGH A HANGNAIL!- "
He continued to ramble.
" Eddie, calm down! Nothing bad is gonna
happen to him. "
I scolded him, cutting him off as we turned to another street and his response is that
he just rolled his eyes.....
Wasn't that delightful...
" And they could amputate legs and arms. But how do you amputate a wai-
How do you amputate a waist?! "
Eddie Screamed as
we turned to an alley.
I looked over to Stan and he was just as annoyed
as I am.
Well I think everyone was.
" You guys do know that alleys are known for dirty needles that have AIDS, right?
You guys do know that? "
Eddie questioned us as we parked our bikes.
" Just shut up Eddie, don't make Ben worry even more about his wound. Besides you're just
over - reacting, Kasbrak.. "
I sighed as we plopped out bikes down.

Meanwhile Bill sat Ben
down on a wooden crate against the wall in the alley.
I turned over to Ben and said
" Don't worry, you're not getting AIDS nor getting
your waist amputated- "
I turned my head, eyeing Eddie when i said my sentence.
"-plus It doesn't look that bad? "
I continued as I smiled at Ben
as he looked up and returned one.
" Ah, we're screwed... "
I heard Stanley mumble.
" Hey, I'm sure we're fine. "
I said to him.
" Y - Y/n/n, Richie, wait here.
Come on. "
I nod as Bill gestured to Eddie and Stan
rush behind him.
I assumed they were going the pharmacy but
oh well.
Richie was by the right side of Ben,
while I was on his left,
leaning against the alley's wall near
where our bikes were.
" Glad I got to meet you before you died. "
My annoying brother said.
" Richie! "
I scowled, seeing Ben look up.
" Hey Ben, sorry about Richie but you okay?
What happened?
If you don't mind me asking. "
I questioned him.
" Yeah, I'm fine. You know Henry Bowers? "
He answered.
" Of course we do! "
Richie said in an obvious tone.
" I uh ran into him while I was leaving and
him and his goons chased me out
the Barrens,
but I somehow escaped to the river and 
I uh stopped in front of the sewers,
which is where I met you guys. "
He softly explained.
" Oh, well, don't worry. I'm sure we'll get
Bowers back somehow. "
I smiled.
" Hey uh we're you just at the library? "
I asked not knowing if he'll respond to that question.
" Yeah, I was. Wait were guys the ones biking? "
He asked.
" Yeah. "
I laughed.
" Sorry for uh, making you fall earlier. "
He smiled guilty.
" Oh don't worry about that, it's totally cool. "
I chuckled looking to my pants which were still soaking wet..

Eddie's POV:

Meanwhile in the pharmacy...
Bill, Stan and I walked in and I started to gather up the supplies we needed to help Ben.
" Can we afford all that? "
Bill asked.
" It's all we got.. "
Stan responded looking at the
crumpled money we had.
" You kidding me? "
I added biting my lip.
" Wait, you have an account here don't you? "
Bill questioned.
" If my mom finds out I bought all this stuff
for myself?
I'll be spending the whole rest of the weekend in the emergency room getting x - rayed. "
I rambled as I started looking for some more stuff that we needed.
