Practically every word of the English language has at least two definitions, one of many being a simple word, stamps. Out of context, this word can have several meanings, such as postage stamps, pressurized stamp-ing, ink on rubber stamps, and anything from a place or building to a dog or surname called Stamps.
One instance is rubber stamps. These are backwards cut out patterns in either rubber or layered felt attached to a piece of wood to be inked by a pad or sponge and pressed onto paper to transfer the design. This type is more decorative, as opposed to an official seal-like stamp, which is stored in its ink and is used on important documents.
Clearly, there is much difference already between these few examples, easily proving that one must check the kind of stamp pertaining to the situation before jumping to conclusions.A/N: I wrote this one just over the week, and surprisingly, I sort of like it. It's also a little funny 😄
