part 2

last summer-

elle and sarah had known each other since they could remember and loved it when they saw each other for the summer. their moms had been lifelong friends like elle and sarah and spent nearly every second with them when they came to visit.

'elle i missed you so much!' sarah said muffled in her shoulder

'not as much as me!!' elle replied

they stood in each other's arms for a while until they broke apart in a flash, both of them overlapping their voices with the drama that had happened in the last year they spent apart.

'ME AND TOPPER FINALLY MADE IT OFFICIA-

SHE FINALLY CAME UP TO ME AND YO-

YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE IT

AND THEN HE SAI-

wait wait wait.. WHAT?? YOU AND TOPPER?' elle replied as her delayed realization registered

'YES YES YES' sarah screamed back

'tell me EVERYTHING'

'not so fast girls dinner is ready, the drama will have to wait till after' elle's mom interrupted

'fine fine' they both replied

elle took a seat when sarah sat next to her as they both filled their plates. their parents had usual parent chit-chat at dinner while the girls stuffed their faces. soon enough they had all finished and after elle brought the plated into the kitchen, they rushed upstairs and settled on the bed. sarah told her everything that happened in the past year while elle snuck in an 'oh' or 'no way' every couple of seconds. after she finished, elle started on hers, with sarah slipping in 'oh my god' and 'knew it'.
