Summer's pov

I found myself in Alisha's house on the couch. I stood up and stretched, cracking my back.

"Look who decided to wake up. Come on the boys and maybe almost the whole school are coming." Alisha said.

"I thought this was a small after-party," I said.

"No such thing when you're in college. Melody said.

"Tyler should be here any minute now," she said.

"Ohh I miss Tyler. I haven't seen him in a while." I said.

"Mainly because Xavier gives him a death stare every time you guys hang out," Alisha said.

"Which doesn't make sense cause he's GAY!" I said.

"Xavier is his own breed," he said.

"Tyler," I said hugging him.

"Hey Sum," he said.

"You know I don't like that name," I said.

"Yea but you know I don't care," he said.

"Anyways what took you so long to come back," I said.

"I was busy. Being a track runner isn't easy," he said.

"I know." I sighed.

"Wait where's Xavier? I'm not trying to get decapitated," he said.

"He's not here. Besides he hurt his ankle. He won't be able to run after you." I said.

"Not true," Melody said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Xavier can run with crutches," she said.

"What can't he do?" I said.

"Realize I'm gay," Tyler said.

"Tyler come help me," Alisha yelled.

"Be right there," he said walking off.

Xavier's pov

Having a broken ankle during a party isn't how I thought my night was finna go. Luckily I was able to get it taped so I can walk on it.

"Who knew you could plan a party?" I said walking up behind Summer.

"Suprised," she asked.

"Very," I said.

"Wait where are your crutches?" she asked in a panic.

"By the door, but it's fine my ankle is taped," I said.

"No you need," she said running off.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her back to me

"Princess I promise you that I'm fine," I said.

She looked at me with a worried pout.

"Why can't you just let it heal correctly?" she asked.

"I am," I said.

"What if we sat down?" she asked.

"Sure," I said.

We sat down on the couch and Summer propped my foot up.

"What?" she asked.

"Just trying to see what I did you deserve such a caring girlfriend," I said.

"Well I have a caring boyfriend too," she said lying on my lap.

"Nigga we have a whole party and yo ass sitting down," Kingsley said.

"Well, this little girl is worried I'm going to hurt myself," I said.
