"Tommy? Are you ok?"

Wilbur asked why the boy suddenly called him 'wilby'

Said Wilbur in his head before snapping back to reality when Tommy spoke again

"I ish tirewd, everwything is hawd for me, an' and yous always helwp me"

Tommy said while tears started to form in his eyes

"You're welcome, Tommy. But are you ok? You don't seem to you know, you today"

Aww thats actually kinda cute, maybe he just tired. But why is he acting like... Like a kid?

Wilbur chuckled at how adorable the boy's reaction was he didn't mind the way he acted. He sent a picture and he printed it out and showed Wilbur in call

When he opened his cam, he was confused and surprised at the same time. Tommy was wearing a onesie, holding a stuffy and a paci in his mouth

"Lookie Wilby! I wike da pictuwe yous send me!"

"Wow! I'm glad you liked it, now go on color the pretty picture, i'll do something first"

Wilbur then switched tabs and opened google to search about 'Tommy's Situation' right now

He then saw in one article that it is called 'age regression'. It's a coping mechanism where you revert to a child like mind. It can range from any age like 3 or even a 8 years old

Hmm interesting, that is why Tommy has been acting strange. Poor kid

He understood the concept of it and wanted to care for Tommy. He's just a kid and he never deserved the pressure and hate online. He opened back the discord tab and asked Tommy

"Hey bud, can I ask how old are you?"

Tommy perked up, didn't expect him to ask that. Of course he gladly answered him

"I ish thwee yeaws old"

"Aw we have a little cutie huh?"

Tommy giggled at what Wilbur said and continued coloring

A few minutes later he was done and wanted to show Wilbur

"Lookie! I colowed this and awso 'raw a picture of us!"

Wilbur looked at it in awe and how cute it was. He definitely like what Tommy drew

"That's so nice Toms! I really like it!"

"Yous weally thwink so?"

"Of course! It's really adorable like you"

Tommy turned red in embarrasment and held to Henry while sucking on his paci. He liked the attention that Wilbur was giving him

"Hey buddy, I think you should take a nap, you eyes are getting tired. We can call again once you wake up"

"Nuh uh, I wan to stay up with yous"

"No bud it's not good for little boys like you to not take a nap and forcing yourself to stay awake"

Wilbur was right, Tommy kept yawning and rubbing his eyes trying to stay awake

"Nuu Tommy don' wan go to bed!"

"Tommy.. You have to kid come on"

"Noo no noo wan to stay up with you!"

Tommy said while throwing a tantrum and flinging his arms around. It was going in for a few minutes until he stopped and sniffled

"Are you done?"

"Yesh *sniff*"

"Now go on, go to bed. I promise when you wake up we can watch a movie, your favorite movie"

Tommy thought of it for a minute and slowly nodded

"Fwine, can we pease watch Moana?"

"Yes of course! Now you promise me you will sleep"

"Mhm! I pwomise"

"Just stay in call for me so i'll know you went to bed"

"Otay! Nini Wilby!"

Wilbur smiled and Tommy hopped into bed and excited to watch the movie when he wakes up. He was fast asleep in seconds and Wilbur just editing a video while waiting for him

Ugh, what happened? Huh? Why am I in a discord call? Wilbur? Oh god I- I need to give him an explanation

He rushed and sat down and unmuted his mic and started rambling. Which startled Wilbur

"Hey man, I-I'm sorry for what happened earlier. I didn't know what I was thinking, I was just stressed af and I-"

"Woah woah Tommy slow down, calm down breath first"

Tommy listened and took a deep breathe and calmed down

"Now all I gotta say, is that it was ok! I understand! It's all good"

"You sure? That was so embarrassing and I thought you would think I'd be weird and never be friends with me"

"No! What? Are you crazy? Of course not man! And if you feel little you can always call me and I can take care of you"

"I- dunno what to say, but thank you. I'm so glad to be your friend"

"Aw bud, you're welcome and I'm proud to be your friend"
