JENNIE'S POV

I'm packing up my things now.

I'm going to runaway with my Laliz.

She's waiting at our favorite place.

I can't lose her.

I don't care about the consequences anymore, I just want to do one thing.

Love her now, tomorrow, and spend my whole lifetime with her.

But I guess, faith really hates me.

Because Jong-in is waiting at me downstairs.

"Where do you think you're going?" He whispered.

He's holding a gun!

"I want us to file a divorce! I'm done with you!" I said bravely.

Though I know my knees are shaking now.

He stands up and started walking towards my direction.

I bite my lips when he slaps my face.

"So it was our dear author your having an affair with." He whispered.

"Yes! Because she's more human than you!" I shouted.

She pointed the gun in my head.

"Should I just kill you?!" He shouted with his angry eyes.

But no, I'm not scared anymore.

"Then kill me, asshole." I said in my firm voice glaring at him.

"So you're brave now?" He said then walk towards the table and get the envelope on it.

He then put the pictures in the table.

And I saw a man, maybe much younger than me.

"Do you know who this man is?" He asked.

I did not answer him.

"He is your mistress's dear brother." He whispered.

And a shock was now all over my face for sure.

"Do you know that Lalisa's been looking at her dear brother? And do you know that just one call from me, and my men in Thailand will shoot him to death? Now choose, you can walk away here and be with that bitch."

It seems like I'm talking to Satan.

Like I'm having a deal with a demon.

My knees got weak.

"But what would that bitch feel if she will know that you actually have the power to save his brother but choose not to? Do you think she will be happy?" He added.

I did not hold back my tears anymore.

"The choice is you, my lovely wife." He said then caressed my cheeks.

I pushed her hands away from me.

"D-Don't, don't you dare hurt them." I whispered.

I know how she longs to see her brother.

She wanted to see him so bad.

I don't want to hurt Laliz by not choosing her, but I don't want her to suffer because she couldn't protect him.
