"A date?" Aether asked as the samurai nodded he needs to step up his game the ginger and emo have already made their move so he has to earn aether's too
"yes it's just a simple date nothing too fancy just you and me," Kazuha says as aether thinks about it for a second
"Alright then," Aether said and smiled "great I'll pick you up later at 7 pm sharp" kazuha says as aether nodded and kazuha walks away
Aether left his classroom to tell his best friend cross the details about the date but when he reached Cross,he was talking to the Principal he decided to wait until they finished they're conversations
"Are you certain of this?" The principal Shiro asked as Cross hesitated but nodded "Alright I will arrange the transferring papers" Shiro says as he leaves
"......come on out aether I know you're there" Cross says as aether comes out from behind the door frame
Cross walks over to aether who was a shocked look on his face "come on say something..." Cross mumbled
"is it true?" Aether mumbled "true what?" Cross asked "that you're transferring!" Aether shouted which flinched Cross "I.. uhh yeah I am..." Cross answered sadly
Aether looked at him with a sad look in his eyes he knows that Cross would regret this decision even after all this time he had no one else to depend on besides himself. He wanted to believe that Cross would change his mind and stay with him even though he knows that he won't.
"This will probably be our last time to see each other" Cross says as he smiled sadly "I don't think I'm ready to see you go.." Aether says
"come with me aether I......have something to show you" Cross says they walk from the school to their dorm
As they entered Cross closed the door of the dorm room
"what do you want to show me?" Aether asked "my true form" Cross said seriously
"true form?" Aether asked confused "you see....I don't have succession they were my real power my true form" Cross says as his body began to glow aether winced as he closed his eyes
and turned away from Cross, When aether opened his eyes again Cross wasn't normal anymore
His white hair was longer it had Shades of red his eyes were purple and gold mixed together with red and gold pupils like the eye of some Deity
His lighting mark has changed on his left cheek was a scale that is balanced equally and his right cheek has some sort of chaotic mark
His clothes are like those the gods wore long robes and a cape, the cape is white with black stripes.
"This is my true form aether.....A deity even some people may say I'm a God....an archon...a balancer and a chaos user" Cross says his voice was beautiful....
"so if we're talking about real power...who do you belong to" Aether asks looking at Cross who blushes at this question "I belong to neither..I belong to both....all beings should be equal" Cross says
"so you mean all deities" Aether mutters
"no no...not all deities I have to balance them out....I have been trying for years to do so but I can never get it" Cross mutters
"no matter what you are you are still my friend cross...." Aether said as cross smiled "then.....maybe one day.....it's possible for us to reunite" says Cross as he transformed back to his original form
Aether took of his hair tie his hair swayed as he gives Cross his tie "take this" Aether said "but you treasure this" Cross says, aether once told him that this tie belonged to his deceased mother
"are you.....certain?" Cross asked as aether nods "I want....you to wear it when we reunite..." Aether said as cross took the hair tie
Cross smiled as he closes his hand as Magic particles formed the moment Cross opened his hand a magical necklace had formed "whenever you are in danger.....this necklace will protect you" Cross says giving the necklace to aether
Aether took it and wore it around his neck "it's pretty...." Aether says mesmerizing
"well then....it's time for me to get going" Cross says as Aether nodded he hugged Cross and held him tightly not wanting to let go "you better take care alright" Aether mutters as he pulls away from the embrace
"of course I will see you soon my friend..." Cross says hugging Aether once more "bye aether..I'll miss you" Cross said as he disappeared
"my friend......someday....we will soon see each other" Aether said as he smiles gripping his necklace

7pm
Aether was standing near the school gate waiting for kazuha
"have you been waiting for long?" He hears a voice aether looked up to see kazuha, he was wearing a simple outfit
"oh no I wasn't don't worry I just got here" Aether says "Shall we then?" Kazuha offers his hand to aether as aether nods and takes it
Unknown to the both of them someone was following them
"hey be more careful you idiots! we'll get caught!" Xiao silently whispered as Albedo followed silently
"Why is aether even hanging out with him" Scaramouche mumbled following albedo

They arrived at the beach,Aether could smell sea salt, he and Kazuha continued to walk and soon a mesmerizing view had appeared before their eyes it was a beautiful scene
"wow....." Aether said "this place is amazing" he added smiling
"let me show you the best part" Kazuha said as they approached a large rocky structure that's made from white rocks
Aether stopped walking as he stared at the sight in front of him
"do you want to come up with me? It looks fun" Kazuha said as he smiled at Aether "sure let's go" he agreed as the two climbed up the rock structure and came out onto the top
Kazuha pulled aether along the beach looking at the sunset and moon as they sat down on the rock
"the night sky always calms me down" Kazuha says while looking into the distance
Aether smiled and hummed quietly as Kazuha kept looking up as the night sky seemed to brighten up a bit.
"thank you for taking me here kazuha....this is what I needed right after what happened" Aether mumbles "if I may asked....what did happened to you aether? You've been gloomy ever since I saw you" Kazuha says
"Cross....he....he transferred school" Aether Said kazuha wasn't very familiar with the prince of Balance and chaos yet he felt pity for aether, loosing his bestfriend just like he once did
"although I'll move on....slowly, he dis promise he'll try to come back" Aether said as he smiled as kazuha blushed
"Aether....may I?" Kazuha asked as he leaned closed to aether "yes you may..." Aether mumbles as he closes his eyes Kazuha leaned more closer until
"HOLD IT!!" Kazuha was pulled away before he could kiss aether, aether opened his eyes too see an annoyed xiao, an angry albedo and a pissed off scaramouche
"oh boy..." Aether said, he spend the rest of his date listening to the four of them arguing
The next day
In class
"as you might have known by now, Cross won't be joining us anymore due to having transfered. however today we have a new student joining us today" Shiro says as he gestured for the student to come in
the boy comes in and introduced himself
"hey the names Shikanoin Heizou, nice to meet ya!, especially that blond boy in the back!"
