The Next Day
I woke up and mom is not in the house. Someone knocked on my door and I was surprised to see Tita Irene.
Almira: Tita?
Irene: Yes I am
Almira: What are you doing here Tita?
Irene: Your mom texted me.She said that no one's with you so she begged me to stay with you today.
Almira: Tita can I talk to you?
Irene: Of course what is it?
Almira: What if I die? What will be your reaction?
Irene: Of course we'll be very sad especially to your Mama Imee.
Almira what kind of question is that it's like you have a cancer or tumor something. *Laughs*
Almira: But I have Tita
Irene: What?
Almira: I have a tumor and my remaining days are only two months.
Maybe this December will be my last Christmas.
Irene: No! *Hugged Almira*
Irene's POV:
I was so shocked about Almira's words. When Almira is asleep, I waited for her mom to come home so that I can talk to her. When she arrived, I confronted her about what Almira said.
Irene: Ate?
Imee: What?
Irene: Is it true that Almira has a tumor?
Imee: She said to you?
Irene: Yes, is it true?
Imee: let's talk in the kitchen
*At the kitchen*
Imee: Irene, Almira is telling the truth..
Irene: What? When did this happen?
Imee: when she had an accident, she does not know that she have a tumor but that time the tumor is still small.
Irene:So her days are only 2 months?
Imee: Yes, but please Irene don't tell this to Mama Meldy.
Irene: *Hugged Imee*
Irene: We have to make her last days meaningful and memorable.
Imee: But how?
Irene: You have to spend time with her more often.
Imee: You're right!
Almira: Ma!?
*Imee and Irene ran into the room*
Imee: What is it baby?
Almira: Ma I can't sleep
Irene: Uh Almira would you like to spend time with your mom tomorrow?
Almira: Really Mom! Of course
*Kissed Imee*
Almira: I'm so excited!
( Imee and Irene hugged Almira at the same time)
Almira: Mom, Tita I can't breathe~~
*Faints*
Imee and Irene: Almira!
We rushed her to the hospital and the doctor came to us and said..
Doctor: Ms Marcos and Ms Araneta, Your daughter should not go on any tight places or cannot be hugged tightly...
Irene: Why Doc?
Doctor: Her heart is weak ma'am
I suggest Ms Marcos, Get her a private nurse and an oxygen so that Everytime she faints wouldn't be a problem..
Imee: Doc? Do you have an extra tank of oxygen here in the hospital?
Doctor: Yes but it cost for about 3-7 thousand
Irene: We'll get it!
Doctor: ok I'll just tell to the nurses.

We left Almira in the house to hire a private for her. When Irene and I arrived, we saw Mama Imelda, Bonget and Liza.
Imee: Bonget what are you doing here?
BongBong: We came to visit Almira.
Irene: Why is Almira sleeping there?
Liza: When we arrived here, We heard Almira's scream. She said she's dizzy and her eyes are getting blurry.
BongBong: It's good that we came here because if we didn't, Almira could've fell on the stairs.
Imee: oh ok then we'll put her to her room so that she can rest well.
Imelda: ok
Irene: Ok kuya *Go upstairs*
( Imelda, BongBong and Liza confused)
Imelda: Imee, what's happening to Almira?
BongBong: Yeah, we saw an oxygen at the corner, What's the use of that?
Imee: Bonget, Ma , Liza... Almira has a brain tumor..
BongBong and Liza: What!
Imelda: Imee! Why didn't you tell us!?
Imee: I'm sorry ma *Crying*
Irene: We can't do anything now
BongBong: Yeah, Irene's right.. It happens.. no one can change it now
Liza: We'll just have to accept this even if it hurts..
