How does the world look like to you?

Is it colorful?

Is it beautiful?

Is it wonderful?

Or is it monochrome like me?

Black, white, and all shades of grey.

The world remains unmoving even at night,

Time is slowed and so is my life.

When will this come to an end I wonder?

This monochrome world of mine that I wander.

Oh, there is a vibrant one I see!

The red trickling down my wrist into the bloody sea,

How beautiful that scarlet dripping down my skin,

But unfortunately, it won't end my sins.

Like a moth drawn to the flame,

We search for death like it's our aim.

We tell our beloved that's not the way,

While we anticipate the forbidden path we say.

I wonder why the world is dark in my eyes,

Even when those beside me share their light.

I want to see that beautiful world they say,

I want to see the brilliance in life.

Not struggling in a body with a mind that wants to die,

Not getting by with anxiety and uncertainty that makes me wanna hide.

Goodbye, my friend, goodbye for now,

Till I recovered, till I walk out,

I'm sure we'll meet again in a world filled with colors,

In the world of wonders, that'll surely shine!
