University Prince

"My Gosh! You startled me!" Napahawak ako sa dibdib dahil sa gulat ko nang maabutan ko sa labas ng classroom si Lincoln!

The heck?! Nandito pa rin siya? Kala ko ba umalis na siya?

Nakasandal ito sa dingding at nakapamulsa. Nang makita ako nito, umayos ito ng tayo at hinarap ako.

Tinaasan ko ito ng isang kilay. "Why you're still here? I thought, you left already!"

Tumaas ang gilid ng labi nito. "You thought wrong then."

What?!

I blinked twice because of his response. When I processed what he said.. napanganga ako.

This guy! How dare him mocked me for the second time?!

"Anyway, I heard everything.."

I was thinking of counter attack because I hate losing when he suddenly said that.

He said it like he hear something he could use to blackmail me..?

Eh?

Ako naman ang nagtaas ng gilid ng labi. Mayabang akong nag-crossed arms sa harap niya at tinaasan ito ng kilay. "So!?"

This time, his expression changed. Napalitan ito ng pagkalito. "That's it?"

"What do you mean, 'that's it'?" Is he expecting something?

Duh. It's not even a big deal!

I watched him as he lick his lower lips that looks like he's struggling to say something..?

This guy.. he's starting to get weirder in my eyes..

Then something hit me.

Don't tell me, he didn't knew my reputations?

Bigla akong natawa sa naisip.

"Why are you laughing?"

"You didn't know my reputations, don't you?"

Mas lalo siyang nalito sa tanong ko. "What reputations? I only knew you're popular but I don't know why."

Bigla akong natigilan. Hindi ko alam kung maiinsulto ba ko sa sinabi niya o matutuwa?

Mainsulto dahil at least ako, alam ko kung bakit popular din siya.. o matuwa dahil sa unang pagkakataon may taong hindi alam ang mga negatibong dahilan kung bakit ako popular.

In this University, although, I'm popular as the girl with beauty and brains.. natatabunan iyon dahil mas kilala ako bilang 'mean girl' at 'serial dater'.

I prefer the first reason to be popular. Being the 'mean girl' and a 'serial dater', of course, who wants that title? But I embrace it and take responsibility for it because I also choose to be like that too.

Sa huli, pinili ko ang mainsulto. Pinaningkitan ko ito ng mata. "Huh! So, someone didn't knew me as a 'serial dater', wow! That's a first! Bravo.. Mr..."

Tinignan ko ito mula ulo hanggang paa. Giving a suspense. "..University Prince."

After I said that. I smirked.

Nakita ko naman siyang natigilan. Like he didn't expected that I knew his so called 'titles'.

Anyways, the crying voice coming from Nigel was bothering us, kanina pa!
