Chapter 18

I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms out before getting out of bed. New day!

I tip-toed downstairs to not wake JB. I make myself toast even though I'm the worst cook ever. I go on Twitter and Instagram to check my notifications and follow a few people. 😏😉

Then, Kimberley called.

"Hey Cheryl, how are you doing?"
"Alright, Kimba. How about you?"
"I'm great thank you very much! What did you do this morning, burn the toast again?"
"No, actually! Pack it in! How's your day?"
"Do we always have to talk about me?" Kimberley moaned. "Let's talk about you for once, that's why I called you."

"Fine. I'm alright. JB hasn't woken up yet that sleepyhead."
"Cool. I'll see you later ok?"
"Bye Kimba."
"Bye Chez."

She hung up and I ate my toast and let the dogs outside for a bit. I sighed as I'm hit by the freezing breeze of the outside. JB comes downstairs and gives me a quick peck on the cheek before making himself some breakfast. He joins me on the sofa and we cuddle each other while watching the morning television.
"Did you sleep well, princess?" JB asked.
"Yeah, how about you prince?"
"Good thank you. Wanna go out somewhere after work?"
"Sure, babes. I'd love that." I smiled, closing my eyes.
"I know you would, Cheryl." He laughed. "Don't fall asleep on me again babe, come on." He patted my back and I opened my eyes again.

"I better go, I'm supposed to be having a meeting today. It's about me business stuff." I said to him, standing back up.
"I should get going to the restaurant. Have a good day, babe." He gave me a soft, gentle kiss and leaves.

I run to get my bag and makeup. I got in the car in front of my house.
"Alright Cheryl? Rush today?" My driver, Kevin, asked.
"Yeah, I'm having a meeting about me business things for me album." I said, starting to do my makeup in the car. And I'm a master at this, trust me!
