A year has passed since that day. My swordsmanship has improved to the point where Dad has to be a little serious to keep up. My magic on the other hand... Chidori, Laser circus. With those improvements out of the way, Mom is making lots of food, I don't know why. Since, this world doesn't celebrate your birthday everyday amd I don't know of any holidays this world has either. After a couple of hours, we all sit down on the table.
Everyone: "Happy fifth birthday, Rudeus and Furn."
After we are and did some performances, everyone give us a present. Dad give me a sword, I'll modify it later. "Thank you, Father."

Roxy: "Here you go. *hands over paper* It holds all of the fire and lighting magic I know. I want you to learn these as I don't know fire or lighting magic myself."
'Ooooh!' "I'll take care of this, Roxy-sensei!" Now that I got all of my presents. Ru got a book filled with knowledge from Mom, a wand from Roxy-sensei, and a dagger from Dad.
Roxy: "After this that'll be time for your graduation, Rudeus. Tomorrow, I'll be giving your final task."
'I guess it was bound to happen. She is a teacher after all.'

Tomorrow came and Ru is getting ready to do his graduation with Roxy-sensei. Oh, I forgot to mention that the reason im not coming is because, I spend little time in practicing my magic, a mostly train on my sword. When Ru and Roxy-sensei are ready to leave, Ru got scared of leaving out of home. 'He reminds me a bit too much of him... I hope he's living a better life than before.' Now that they're gone. "Hey, Mom I know this is a weird request but, can you teach me how to cook?"
Mom: "Oh? Why do you wanna cook? *le gasp* Are you meeting someone?!"

4 hours later, I'm now 30% of Mom's level of cooking. Also, Ru and Roxy-sensei came back home but since night arrived, Roxy-sensei had to leave prompting Mom and Dad to try and convince her to stay.
Roxy: "I'm grateful for your hospitality over this year and a half. But I plan to travel the world and hone my magic over again."
Dad: "Well... I see. Sorry, it seems that Rudeus made you lose confidence."
Roxy: "Rudy, Fury, I did the best I could in teaching you two magic. But it seems I lack the ability to guide you."
"Roxy-sensei, that's not true. You've taught us how to use different levels of magic that we couldn't have done without your help. Even if we surpass you in magic, we will still know that the reason we have surpassed you is not because of having 'talent' but by having someone who taught us these things to be better in our own abilities. *sigh* What im trying to say is... without you, we wouldn't have been where we are now." After my encouraging speech, Roxy-sensei sheds a tear, she wipes it off and gets on mine and Ru's height.
Roxy: "Thank you for you words Furn. Your right without me, you two wouldn't have been where you are now. As your teacher, I will give you something to remember those words you spoke."
Roxy-sensei gave and put a necklace at Ru. She gave me a bracelet that looks like it's made of metal, it has blue and green markings with an image of a star at the top and bottom of the bracelet.
Ru: "What are they?"
Roxy: "They're both charms from my hometown. I hope you both will treasure this."
Ru: "We will!"
Roxy: "Now, I think it's my time to go. Goodbye."
I clench my fists. 'I'm not ready for this. Damnit... I'll just say goodbye'. I ran and so did Ru. We ran just enough to let her hear our voice. "Roxy-sensei/Master! Thank you very much for all the things you taught us!!!". "Roxy-sensei... She has our respects."
Ru: "I hope we'll be able to see her again."
