Chapter 41

Alright, this chapter isn't a lot of things but this chapter served a bunch of things in terms of Sin's character and I love it.

The conflict between Anne and Sin is incredibly interesting and stupid at the same time.

Is Sin right? Yes, yes he is.
Did Sin go too far? Yes, yes he did.

But before we go into that. The chapter opened to something I saw coming at the very moment we saw Gowther.

He's staying in the demon village. For me this is like the Howzer situation. But if we look into how the story is progressing. They're still so far away from Liones. And with Gowther being with them would make their presuers non threatening because Gowther's with them. It makes sense that he's not joining them but it's also stupid. Granted Sin's with them and Gowther knows what he's capable of so that could be a thing.

Anywho let's move on to the meat and potatoes.

The group in now on their way running towards whereever they might go next. Sin is leading them on, Sin does have a point that they need to hurry but the others are not catching up not because they can't keep up but because Anne's still upset about Ardbeg's death.

Anne took Ardbeg's staff with her but she dropped it to the ground as she cries. And Sin straight up broke it.

Anne is super upset but does have a point, the staff is from King Arthur, they can't leave it intact, Nasiens then backed this up as he said that the chaos staff are the one responsible for turning his grandpa into a monster.

Nasiens comforted Anne stating that Ardbeg is a kind man and he would have never hurt them in anyway. Then Sin went ahead saying that because of that Ardbeg is weak and Sin stated what he could've done if he's is Ardbeg's position.

Anne still upset, questioned that is Sin even on their side, Anne put out instances that happened in the past and what is he doing duri g does times. Sin answered then truthfully even on the part of him napping during Percy's fight with Cerunnos and the others joined in on it stating the stuff that Sin did to help them which is a lot. Anne is pissed and Sin ended up apologizing in the end. With that Anne is back and happy again.

With this comment from Sin.

Sin straight up manipulated Anne into feeling better.

Percy then complimented Sin on hiw grown up he is and asked how old is he.
Sin said he's 3k years old which we know he's 100% joking about because he stated before that he can't enter the cave because Ardbeg's magic would affect him.

I love this interactin with Sin and Percy.

Sin is insecure about his placement in the group. And Percy reassured him that with Sin just being there is more than enough and he's happy to be around Sin.

This page I think connects to Sin being Lancelot. Since this is the same mentality that got Lancelot into leaving Benwick in the first place. Lancelot wants to be recognized by his father, he wants to help and he did do that, not knowing that what Ban wants is to be with Lancelot.

And we got this shot.

This seems to be the forest that Percy's Grandpa is talking about in Chap 1. Sin came up with a plan that Anne then stole.

I'm very interested on what's gonna happen next.
