First of all, I'm sorry for the lack of updates. My excuse? I've been obsessed with Miraculous Ladybug fanfics. I'm so sorry but I can't help it, I love them.

Second, in this oneshot everybody is in normal high school, spy school never happened. Although, all their personalities are the same and they're all the same age just so it isn't so awkward. (15)

Anyways, let's get started.

Good ole' Benny boy's POV. You know you love it.

"Hey Ben, you excited?" Mike asked enthusiastically as he accompanied me to the National Math Competition, where the best kids at math in the entire freaking United States would compete against each other to see who is the best.

Of course, it was happening in Washington DC, the country's capital. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I wasn't going to waste it. One of the perks was that we would be competing in teams of two, each team representing a different state.

I was representing the District of Columbia, which was where Washington was and I got to team up with *sighs dreamily* Erica Hale.

She's perfect. Drop dead gorgeous, smart, confident, and extremely competent. Okay, I admit there's one flaw about her. She's a loner and like's to distance herself from other people at school. She's not afraid to show her distain about someone right in front of them and it has happened several times already and she even roasted some teacher's before, in their own class!!! Damn, that girl was badass.

Seeing the dreamy look on my face, Mike smirked. "Thinking about Erica? Well, today is the day you can impress her!"

I wasn't really affected by Mike's teasing as I've been best friends with him since 3rd grade. Idk if that's true, and I'm to lazy to go through the books to find out.

But I did think about his last sentence. To be fair, I've already gone through 89 scenarios where I could try to impress Erica. Key word is try.

If you couldn't tell by her personality, Erica was very, very, very hard to impress. I don't think she even knew I existed before we were partnered for this competition.

My train of thought was broken by a kid's gangly voice as he yelled at me.

"Yo Ripley, ready for your ass to be whooped in this competition?"

I trailed the voice and it ended up belonging to the person I hated to most on this earth, Joshua Hallal.

The jerk was from some super high class private school because his parents were rich assholes like himself and the worst part was he was still gloating over something that happened like, a year ago!

What happened was, we were at a different math tournament and he purposely knocked a glass of water into my lap and since the tables were open at the bottom, everyone got a good look at my wet pants. Needless to say, that made me very embarrassed and that made me lose focus, ending with Joshua taking the trophy home, laughing his head off all the way.

I gritted my teeth at the memory.

"What do you want Hallal?" Mike asked bad manneredly.

"Oh nothing Brezenski, just coming over to see my not so much competition." He smirked evilly.

His friends beside him laughed stupidly at the more than lame joke.

Suddenly a girl's voice called from right behind him, "Get out of here idiot, I need to talk with my partner."

Joshua screamed like a little girl and turned around. No offense to all the little girls out there, I've met some that can really punch.

Erica was standing with a blank look a few feet behind him.
