Heaven And Hell

Oh, God, my pulse is shifting gear,
I'd no idea that you'd be here.

Your laughter fills the midnight air,
I catch my breath, can't help but stare.

The music thumps, this party's loud,
But seeing you drowns out the crowd.

Same room, but we seem miles apart,
You've well and truly hooked my heart.

It makes no sense for me to stay,
But I can't pull myself away.

Should I try to make this real?

Constant daydreams in my mind,
Envisioning us intertwined.

I want my hand to cup your cheek,
My kiss to make your knees go weak.

Desperate for us to be alone.

I want to make your blood run hot,
To tie your pounding heart in knots.

Lock all the doors so we can hide,
As clothes fall off and lips collide.

I want us breathless with desire,
To set your very soul on fire.

Once I've messed up your pretty hair,
I want to kiss you slowly there.

To pleasure you between your thighs,
You'd bite your lip; scrunch up your eyes.

You'd be exposed and blushing red,
Squirming beneath me in my bed.

You'd arch your back, you'd hold on tight,
And I'd make love to you all night.

I long to feel your skin aflame,
To hear you moan and breathe my name.

I want to be the only one,
To make you writhe and come undone.

But sadly, none of this can be,
So, it must stay a fantasy.

It's so wrong that I feel this way,
My craving must be kept at bay.

My avid dreams should not be heard,
So, I'll stand back, won't say a word.

I'm so in love with you it hurts,
Distraught that this would never work.

Though you're the one I want so much,
I won't pursue; won't try to touch.

The obstacles are far too great,
With deep divides; too much at stake.

Problems lurk round every door,
Issues that I can't ignore.

So, like a rainbow on a beach,
You're beautiful, but out of reach.

Temptation calls, but I refrain,
Despite it driving me insane.

It seems you've caught me in your trap,
