I locked myself in my throne room. Finally allowing myself to process everything. So I believe she had anything to do with rebel group? Not necessarily. Can I tule her out ? Absolutely not. Either way. Her in a cell is the safest. If it's not her they won't be able to kill or kidnap her while she's tightly locked away. But the look she gave me.

My head fell into my hands. Ugh. She hates me. She's going through so much stress but this is all unavoidable. She even still refuses to eat. My child is starving. Wasting away. Squeezing my hair practically threatening to rip it off with anger...I furiously let go before I do.

Will a war come? I can't handle a war breaking out between our kingdoms but surely his men would come marching in looking for their king after a long surprised absence. "This is what u hate about ruling" I muttered to myself. "Nothing is for certain but the possibility of death lurked with every decision I make. The consequences are all necessary.

Will I have to finally reveal my curse? I thought placing a hand over one eye. What will my people think of me then. What if they find that I'm too dangerous or too much of a wild card and decide to claim my head themselves? Could I risk their fate they blindly entrusted me with? It could solve all my problems but risk their lives in the process.

I can't.

I have to keep up this facade of a blind yet at ring and skilled emperor.

The doors swing open despite them being locked. Geto and a man I don't recognize walks in. "I know your steps Geto but I'm not familiar with the other pair. What's the reason you have for breaking my doors and interrupting my alone time?" I tightly gripped the arm rest.

"Your highness. This is Toni Fushiguro. Our allied kingdoms advisor of the king." The man presented as Toji stood broad and tall. He couldn't have been just an advisor. He had to have been a soldier of some kind.

"Fushiguro?" I asked "as in Megumi?"

The man smirked "My Son."

"I see. What can I do for you Fushiguro? I don't remember having an official appointment this hour. What could possibly be so important to cause this disruption?"

"Our king hasn't came back. He was scheduled to be back home in a few days time. It has now been a week." He looked at the empty throne beside me. "And her majesty?" The nerve of him to ask for her in that tone. As if he looked forward to seeing my wife.

"With her brother." Before I could say anything else to deter him away and send him packing he boldly walked towards me. Both his hands on my arm rest as he moved his face inches away

"You dare to lock her up?" He whispered angrily. Before I could say a word his large hand covered my throat and squeezed it tightly. "I should kill you right now" he muttered "but I'll settle for a public death."

I smiled teasing the man " Mr. Fushiguro, you make me blush. How did you know I like it when people watch." I kicked him sending him flying across the room. "I take your stillness as a sign of betrayal Geto." I glared at the man I assumed was a friend. But he didn't answer. He simply smiled. Now y/ns words ring in my head.

As I stared Geto down Toji was above me beating me to a pulp. I didn't even bother resisting.  Death would be better than facing my wife knowing she was right. Knowing how I wronged her. I deserved this.

When he was done he wiped the sweat off his face and glared down at me as if I was nothing but a mere animal. "Don't worry. I'll  make her my queen." He smiled signaling a hand side to his chest which is famously known as the greeting of the gods descendants.

I won't let him touch her.

"Lock him up. I'm sure y/n and itadori would have fun with him before he dies tomorrow."
