Mapulon didn't know anything to start with any situations involved with gangs at all, he obviously doesn't know anything about such knowledge, it was best that he sharpens the things he knows of.

Which was the basics of elemental magic, scrying and uses of reagents in magic, there are different kinds from runic magic of different origins, as since magic is influenced by belief and facts shapes that magic,

Since the country the Philippines, is not known for being a super military of sovereign nation or something large or it's very rich. However, it was well known for its variety of culture during the pre-colonial period,

There are have been instance of a demon being manifested when the nation was used to be colonized, it was glad that there were practitioners were available and lots of priests were available during that time and with the nature of the Philippines believe of a lot of things of having spirit, it was what you could say a powder keg, which forced tons of demon hunters to position themselves in key areas which now they are called enforcers,

With that being said, he was at least glad that his master was sensible enough that her task was to locate one of the bases of those criminal mages, it would be a task too impossible,

For people like them who was parts of when the city was born, and with presence of the enforcers who were quite brutal in takedowns of the said criminals, it would be obvious that they could live near the city with enforcers,

Yet thrive within it. He couldn't imagine the thought of fighting of the likes of them, he wasn't the heroic type either, he might be able to in the future but for now, He might as well finish the apprenticeship by his master.

Though five months has passed, his knowledge in the arcane has greatly increased though not to the extent at least matching blow for blow with his master.

There are tons of materials and things that could be bought in the magical community, despite his grievances of being known in that community. From what he overheard of the people there,

It seemed that there already mentions of the mage who burned the zombie horde but it seemed that garnered a simple acknowledgement or a simple thanks for killing off a horde but other than that there was nothing onboard with it.

Though there were people who seemed to know him but they simply acknowledged as some sort of debut. Which in their community was quite rare but not something uncommon here, while he did shop there for reagents, no one did approach him for something of nefarious intent or something bad, but just because he was excellent in becoming under the radar, doesn't necessarily mean that everyone in the community will be pleasant,

In that case he wouldn't just stroll around just like an idiot, he simply buys things what he wants and exit the market as fast as possible without drawing attention while paying attention to his surroundings.

Though his master's warning seemed unwarranted during his visit there but though the stares that he sometimes spot were unwarranted as if they were waiting, that he would be doing something.

Though that could have been that the magical community wasn't big, so they might have been staring at him either from the looks of curiosity though with his state, that might change too.

Not that would be forever be completely hidden after all, the community wasn't that big magically after all. The amount of time it would take for them to track Mapulon as that one mage without any public demonstrations would more likely be within six to eight months,

And when people started making connections to the boy who worked part-time with the burning of the zombies, after all the gangs press-gang him to joining or try to use him for experiments but before that time would come, he would be prepare for what they will throw at him but first of all, he must give the ingredients to his teacher.
