Chapter 1

Lance
I was packing my things, when Alaina in to our room.

Alaina : Are you sure this is a good idea?
Me : I don't know.
Alaina : Be careful, then.

I turned around and look at her. I hold both of her hand in mine.

Me : I know you're worry about me. I'm also worry about you. We're going to have a baby. What do you think all those stressed can do to both you and the baby? I want you to relax, its already been 2 months, I want you to stay away from it.

Alaina was crying. She try to wipe the tears away, but it won't stop.

Alaina : I know, I just- I don't want to lose you. I don't want this baby to lose its father.
Me : Neither did I want to leave. I will try to contact you everytime I can. I will come back here. I need to go.
Alaina : Understand, Agent Blue. Until we see each other again.

Alaina can't stop cry, and she let it be. I wipe her tears away, and kiss her head, her cheeks, her nose and her mouth.

Me : Until we can see each other again.

I leave our house with a blank face. But inside, its hurts so much.

AT THE GARRISON
Lance
I walk around to search for Director Raven's husband. And I found someone I can ask.

Me : Hello.
? : Hello? What can I help you?
Me : I was searching for Commander Iverson. Where's he?
? : I was about to meet him. You can come with me. My name is Takashi Shirogane, everyone class me Shiro.
Me : Thank you, Shiro.
Shiro : Your welcome. Follow me.

He look young, but look so strong. Is he a student or want to become an officer?

Me : By the way, you don't tell me your name yet.
? : Oh yeah, sorry. I forgot about that. My name is Lance McClain.
Me : Nice to meet you, Lance. What are you doing here?
Lance : I was here to working with the Garrison for awhile. Did you know that Garrison is working with the Rebellion from out of space in secret?
Me : Yes, but I don't know much.
Lance : I see.
Me : And what about them?
Lance : I came from there to here.
Me : Really? Why?
Lance : To help Garrison with some work. I was- hesitating to go but- they need my help.
Me : I see. Why are you hesitating?
Lance : I already have a wife.
Me : Really? How old are you?
Lance : I'm 20 years old.
Me : You're younger than me.
Lance : Really? I thought we maybe in the same age.
Me : And I thought you was younger like how you look.
Lance : Why's everyone keep saying I was a teenager. I'm an adult, okay!
Me : *chuckle* You're fun.
Lance : Yeah, my wife say the same thing you say to everyone. *smiling*
Me : Why are you hesitating again?
Lance : I'm afraid of leaving her alone. Even though I want to stay, but I can't.
Me : I see. There's more reason, right?
Lance : We're gonna have a baby next year.
Me : Really?
Lance : Yeah, we have adopt one boy when I found him almost get kill by someone I don't want to know.
Me : Already a big family, huh?
Lance : Yeah.

We talk about each other until we bumped with someone.

? : Takashi?
Shiro : Adam?
Adam : Where are you?! Iverson was searching for you! He want you to escort someone for him! He was-

Adam stop when he sees Lance standing behind me.

Adam : You're Iverson special guest. You already meet him?
Me : He ask were is Iverson. So I help him while showing him around this place.
Adam : I'm sorry for what you have to see.

Adam apologize to Lance.

Lance : No, no ,no. It's okay. I'm actually have seen worse than this.
Me : Your wife?
Lance : Yup!
Adam : Your wife? You already married? It's only been awhile. Both of you seem closer to each other.
Me : He's fun to talk to, you know.
Lance : Yeah, it's fun.
Adam : I see. By the way, my name is-
Lance : Adam Walter, Shiro's fiance. I know, he tell me much about you.
Adam : Really?
Lance : Yeah.

Lance is an interesting person. He was a Latino just like me. We speak Spanish. We actually have many in common. And then the three of us meet with Iverson with his students.
