Chapter 6: Mrs Marcos?

It was Wednesday Leni and Bongbong were at Philippine children's medical center visiting children who were badly sick due to different kinds of illness though Bongbong had a busy schedule for today he still manage to insert a visitation day to the hospital

They were greeted by health care officials and other workers Leni separated from him to talk to other children while he went and talked to the high officials of the hospital

While talking to one of the head medical officials he noticed Leni talking to small children and the children seems to enjoy her company so he excused himself

He went to the direction where Leni and the children were talking and he decided to insert himself in there conversation

Hello mga bata he greeted while smiling at them

Mr president! Said the children excitedly

Parang ang saya saya nyong kausap si Leni ha he asked them

Leni and Bongbong looked at each other then back at the child before Leni could speak Bong inserted himself

Leni Slapped his arm slightly and looked at him with wide eyes he whispered to her

Leni exhaled he was right she never knew what this kids were going through so she just gave in with the play pretend they were doing

Leni looked at the children and smiled then replied

Tama si Bong tawagin nyo kong nanay kung gusto nyo after all nanay naman ako ng buong bansa she smiled

And ako ang tatay ng buong bansa Bongbong inserted

Leni smiled and rolled her eyes at him the children all looked So happy and not long after they hugged the two Leni and Bong never hesitated to hug them back

After that the two started to have a conversation with the children on what there life expectancies were

After hours of talking Bong looked at his risk watch he noticed it was already 12:45 pm

He got up and went to where Leni was he spotted her talking to some officials he decided to interrupt

Excuse me may I speak to the vice president? He asked

They all looked at him and gave a immidiate response

After they left Leni looked at him and raised a brow

Tell me anong dahilan sa pag interrupt mo sa meeting namin about children? She asked

Well Mrs Marcos mag wa-one pm na and I know hindi kapa kumakain so I suggest we eat first before going back to our work

Leni looked at him and asked

Mrs Marcos bakit mali ba? He asked jokingly

Oo po madam Marcos halikana kumain na muna tayo baka mamaya mahimatay kapa dito he joked

Well nagugutom naman na nga ako so it's not a problem halikana she stated

They informed there PSG's to just wait for them while they have lunch they all agreed and the two left the establishment

While walking down the road Leni asked

So saan tayo kakain Mr president?

Dyan nalang sa lugaw store alam ko paborito moyan he joked

Leni glared at him and replied

Wow grabe ka Mr puto! Kung kakain lang tayo sa lugaw store para inisin ako edi wag nalang!,

She started and started to walk away Bongbong laughed and went to catch up with her

He grabbed her hand and guided her to the cafe after minutes of walking they finally arrived

The people started to greet them and take pictures while they just ignored some of them and took a seat

A waitress went to them and asked there order

Black coffee nalang sakin Bongbong replied

Leni looked at him and asked

Seryoso ka? We went here to eat lunch not take a breakfast

Sige na sir mag order na kayo baka mabatukan pa kayo ng bise presidente the waitress joked around

Oo nga eh he replied giggling

Ok black coffee and croissant ok nayan sakin he replied

And for you maam? She asked Leni

Um.. tea and cookies yan sakin pls she stated

Alright po mr president and ms vice president wala napo ba kayong idadagdag? The girl asked

May lugaw ba kayo? Bongbong asked jokingly

Hoy! Leni replied in a cold tone Bongbong laughed and replied

Joke lang that will be all miss wala na iba

Alright then maam and sir ill be back with your order in about 15 minutes she stated and left

Alam mo napansin ko sabi mo lunch Leni replied

Oo nga lunch Bakit May Problema ba? He asked

Eh parang breakfast tong kakainin natin ehh

Bongbong thought for a moment and replied

Ok tapusin lang natin yung food dito then lets visit a restaurant

Hindi na ok lang! Ito naman Leni replied

Alright then pero wag ka mag rereklamo pag nagutom ka! He replied

Baka ikaw pa nga magreklamo ehh Leni replied laughing

It was truly a wholesome afternoon for them
