It's been a month since the events of Lagos and my dad is out doing a speech at a college. He should be back within the hour. I'm sitting in the living room and my dad walks in and not alone. Behind him is... Secretary Ross! Uh oh! This can't be good. Secretary Ross in the compound can't be a good thing. "Who are you?" asks Secretary Ross. I look at my dad and he nods. "I'm Madison, Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff's daughter," I say. "Oh, is that so? Then how come I haven't seen you or heard of you?" says Secretary Ross. "Ross, she's my daughter and Natasha and I have kept her a secret until a month ago," says my dad. I smile as he places a hand on my shoulder.

Then we walk into the meeting room and I'm told to wait outside while everyone has a meeting. Ugh! I want to know what's going on! My mom walks towards the meeting room and she hugs me before going in. I see Wanda and I say "Wanda, no matter what happens in there, your still family to me, love you!" I say. "Thanks Maddie. Love you too," says Wanda. She hugs me before she walks into the meeting room.

I wait for about an hour. I'm watching through the clear sound proof walls of the meeting room. I have got to learn how to read lips. They're watching something on the screen and Wanda looks down at one point and she looks on verge of tears. I make a mental note to hug her real tight when she gets out. She's like a big sister to me and I hate seeing her hurt.

Ross walks out and I wait for my family to walk out. Wanda has her head down and I run up to her and hug her. "Hi, Maddie," says Wanda softly. "Hi Wands," I say. "Maddie, why don't you go up to your room and play around while us adults have a chat?" says my mom. "Ok," I say defeated. I know there's no point in arguing so I walk up to my room and play some music while I play on my watch.

Eventually my mom knocks on my door and says "Pack your bags, you're coming with us to Vienna!" "Awesome! Wait, why Vienna? What's going on? I was watching through the glass and Wanda was almost crying during the meeting," I say. "The ratification of the Sokovia Accords is in Vienna so we're going to Vienna to sign them. Normally we'd leave you with Nick and Maria at Shield headquarters but your dad and I have decided that we'll take you with us this time since it's not a mission. Ross played some clips of battles that we've had and the damage that was left and two of them are touchy subjects for Wanda. The Sokovia Accords is a bunch of legal documents that make it so us Avengers can't operate unless the governments of the world find it necessary. Maddie, do not mention any of this, okay?" says my mom. "Ok. I promise not to mention any of this," I say. "Good! Now, I'll help you pack since we're leaving early tomorrow morning," says my mom. I nod and smile. Vienna! I finally get to go out of country with my parents.

We get ready to leave and I learn who's signing the Accords based on who is getting by on the Quinjet. My parents, Rhodey, and are Vision singing them and Wanda, Steve, and San aren't. Well, Wanda is TBD but at this point, she's basically not signing. I say goodbye to Wanda and I hug her tightly before I say goodbye to Sam and get on the plane. Steve is at a funeral in London so we're going to  make a stop there and see if he has changed his mind. I doubt it but, it's worth a shot.

As I thought, Steve didn't change his mind and we're now in Vienna. Today is the day of the Accords signing. I wave to the cameras that are filming us. A lot of reporters ask who I am and I always look at my parents for approval of me telling the reporters. They always nod and I tell people who I am. Based on the notifications that Friday is giving me, people are in shock. We get to the Accords room and the guards let me in when my parents tell them who I am. My seat is next to my mom in the front row. My dad's seat is on the other side of the room. I'm letting my parents talk to whoever they want while I sit back in my seat and watch.

A man on the PA lets us know that the meeting is starting and I mentally prepare myself for complete boredom. King T'Chaka of Wakanda says a speech and halfway through it, I hear a dog barking really loudly. Prince T'Challa of Wakanda shouts "Everybody get down!" Then there is an explosion as my mom pulls me under the table shielding me from harm. A few pieces of glass cut my cheek but the cuts aren't serious. 12 people died in the explosion and King T'Chaka is one of them.

Everyone is led outside for medical examinations and some ointment is put on my cuts. Then I get a FaceTime call on my watch from Wanda. I tell my mom and she lets me answer it. "Madison! Are you okay? I saw the explosion on the news! What happened to your cheek?" says Wanda. "Yeah! I'm okay! So are my parents and the rest of the Avengers. A few pieces of glass cut my cheek nothing major! How are you?" I say. "I'm good. It's boring without you here. You really liven up the place," says Wanda. "Thanks!" I say. "My pleasure!" says Wanda. "Madison!" says my mom. "Wanda, I've gotta go. My mom's calling me! I'll talk to you later! Love you!" I say. "Bye! Talk to you later! Love you, Maddie!" says Wanda. Then I quickly hang up and rush over to my mom.

"Yeah, mom?" I say. "We've gotta go. Steve is up to something and we've got to go stop it," says my mom. "Yay! Adventures!" I say. My mom smiles and she holds my hand as we get on the Quinjet. We arrive at cooperate building in who knows where. I think we're in London but I don't know anymore. Steve and Sam arrive with T'Challa and my mom lectures Steve and my favorite thing that she says is "For the record, this is what making things worse looks like."

We arrive in a room with glass walls and Ross tells Steve, Sam, and T'Challa that they aren't allowed to leave the room. Eventually the Winter Soldier, aka Bucky, Steve's childhood best friend breaks loose and everyone goes into combat mode. I follow my mom and I throw some kicks and punches like my mom taught me to. While attempting to protect my mom, the Winter Soldier picks me up by my throat, choking me. My mom fights him and he lets go of me. I gasp for air and I eventually catch my breath in time to watch my mom get thrown on a table while she gets choked. I run on top of tables in the direction of the Winter Soldier and I do a jump kick that hits the Winter Soldier in his head. He staggers a little and I stall him while my mom recovers. I tell Friday to notify my dad that I need help if he isn't busy. My dad comes rushing in and takes it from there. My mom has me run out of the building with the civilians.

They fight for a little while longer before the Winter Soldier makes his way to the roof and Steve takes things from there. My mom finds me outside and she says "Madison! Are you okay? What on Earth was going through your head? You almost got yourself killed! Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?" "Mom, I just wanted to protect you. I'm okay, anyways. That was fun! When can I do it again?" I say. Then my dad arrives and says "That was some impressive fighting! Are you okay?" "Yeah! I'm better than okay! I just got to fight!" I say.
